The restaurant is in a shopping center - I must admit I did not have high expectations. Was u wrong. Because of Covid they had tables outside which was great. The food was wonderful- very large portions. My husband had a drink which was a good pour (good selection of top shelf liquors). Hot and sour soup was excellent as was the sushi. I had a noodle dish with chicken and shrimp which was very good and too large for 1 person to eat. If we are in Great Neck again I would definitely go back.

Good Meal

We asked our hotel bellmen about a good place for lunch and Wild Ginger was suggested and they were correct. The menu is what you would expect for a Thai restaurant from noodles, chicken and sushi. There is even a small area of outdoor seating.

Not So Good In Service

My cousins and I went for dinner here. The restaurant is nice and big. The food was good but the service was not. The place was not crowded when we went but it took a long time for the food to arrive and to receive our check. I would give it one more try.

Three of us had dinner here on a Thursday evening. The appetizers and three different dinners were excellent. The service was also attentive.

Great authentic chinese and thai food!

I recently tried Wild Ginger for the first time with my brother and cousin. The food was excellent. Lots of flavor and everything was fresh. The cost was reasonable. Perfect ambiance and good service.

Plenty of parking as the restaurant is located in a shopping center. If you have allergies to certain foods and tell the waiter they are eager to make your food omitting the ingredients you are allergic to. Service is excellent. The crispy duck is delicious, the garlic shrimp is also good.

We've been coming here since we moved to Great Neck 22 years ago. It is average pan-Asian food at a very reasonable price.

Good Pan Asian-easy parking

We've been here multiple times - every time on an off-hour with few diners-the food is good with plenty of selections. Soup, dumplings and salads arrive quickly with entrees taking a little longer. Service is hit or miss as far as attentiveness so it's best to get your whole order in at once. Sushi is fresh and good. Parking is available in the large plaza lot and it's near the train station making it a quick before or after venue or meet up destination.

Good Pan-Asian food

Always reliable and good service. The food is very good. Home Made Gyoza. Plenty of Vegetarian cuisine. Our favorites entrees is the wok grilled duck and pan fried noodles with chicken and shrimp. Drinks are fair at $10 per. Parking is easy.

Good Asian fusion food, but since David left, service is lacking.

This place has good Asian fusion food. Several months ago our favorite waiter who worked here part-time David went back to his country. Since then, we have not found a new favorite waiter after several visits. One put an extra item of $17 extra on our bill and we told them we didn't have it and never ordered it or received it. We waited half an hour and then when it was not rectified, got up to go. He chased us down then. We demanded to have that taken off and it finally was. We settled up in cash but did not leave a tip. We will not be back again after this rude behavior after spending many thousands over the years here to be treated this way.

Excellent Sushi, Very Fresh Fish & Great Menu

We just returned from Hawaii a few days ago and we were depressed that we wouldn't be eating sushi that was as fresh as we had on vacation, however we were pleasantly surprised by the very high quality of Wild Ginger's sushi!. Their Golden Dragon, Tiger and Wild Ginger Rolls were exceptional! We also had wonderful steamed vegetable dumplings and sautéed chicken with crispy spinach. Every dish we had was outstanding

Good pan asian food. very nice atmosphere and is located in a convenient shopping mall with plenty of parking. They have a few outdoor tables that some people seem to enjoy

Amazing

Honestly I'm in love with the salmon salad here!! The staff are so so friendly and the environment is beautiful. Never had to wait long, really good prices especially for such an affluent area. It's well known amongst locals and with good reason! Highly recommended you won't regret it :).
