Birthday lunch with a friend, and I raved about their mac & cheese. My guest was in full agreement. We had the best lunch with the best server (Tim) and atmosphere. Management and employees are professional, well-trained and exceptionally helpful. My guest was choosing between...2 desserts and Tim informed her that they always have one choice on hand but not the other, which only guaranteed that we WILL go back! Smart man! The buttermilk chicken fried sandwich with mac & cheese was a winner, as was the strawberry rhubarb crumble. Homemade soups and desserts too!More

Delightful little restaurant with great staff and wonderful, homemade dishes! Tim, our server, was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes, very friendly and helpful, and made our dining experience memorable. The tables are a bit close together, but the experience was worth it. The food? INCREDIBLE!...I had the grilled chicken sandwich. It was a very large portion, cooked nicely, on a tasty bun with lettuce (no tomato per my request) and mayo. My dining partner had the 'special' which was a fried chicken sandwich. Very large portion, and the add-ons were numerous and good (lettuce, pickles, mayo and bbq sauce). We both had a side of their 'special' mac and cheese - it was amazing! My dining partner wanted to buy a large container of it to take home, but they were sold out at that point. The desserts: there's a marker-board with a list of homemade desserts - all sounded wonderful! With assistance from The Wonderful Tim, I selected the Grasshopper pie. It was HUGE and delightful. My partner chose the rhubarb and strawberry pie, which they really enjoyed. I can't wait to bring more friends back here for another meal. Highly recommend.More

Friends and I were directed to this spot by a local resident when bike riding on Grand Island a month ago. That day we were treated to friendly service, cold beer and live music in their outdoor area. After the Ride for Roswell 2021, same...group headed there after the ride (owner had helped us find our way back to 26 mile route earlier- thank you!) and on a hot, humid day we were treated royally by staff (Mattie and Kelly) in air conditioned comfort. Food here is wonderful - our group all ordered "The Volcano" from the specials menu - a tall burger on Costanzo's roll topped with onion rings, bacon, cheddar, jalapeno, lettuce tomato - the juicy medium well burger was cooked to perfection. We had eyed the hummingbird cake on our first visit and left room for it on this one. Best version of this cake I've ever tasted. If you're in the area, don't miss it. If you're in Buffalo or Niagara Falls it's well worth the short drive to get there.More

We found this place on accident and when we pulled up to park our first impression was that this cannot be a restaurant. We decided to give it a try and walked in and right away we knew this was a hidden treasure. The staff...were friendly, helpful and very outgoing. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very inviting and friendly. I ordered the chicken and it was huge and amazing. You definitely get your money's worth here. My only regret is not taking pictures to post. For dessert I got the cheesecake and it was amazing. My recommendation for anyone looking to eat here is try and get here early because they run out of things throughout the evening which I was witnessing while eating so that shows you how popular this place is. I highly recommend this place.More

Played golf at Beaver Island with a couple local guys , Mike and Dave. We are from FL and don’t know the area so we asked for a recommendation for food. They told us you couldn’t go wrong with Village Inn. They we right this...was a great place. The burgers were the best I have had, they had some beer on tap and their Key Lime Pie was delicious. If you find yourself in the area of Buffalo or Niagara you need to stop.More

We came across this place really by chance and when we arrived we were even reluctant to go in...BUT don’t let looks fool you! This was one of the best meals we’ve had out in a long time! Great friendly staff!! Homemade food with novel...mixtures. I had an 8oz elk burger- delicious. My husband had their specialty beef sandwich-awesome. The Buffalo bread appetizer was way more than we needed and definitely can be a 4 person appetizer. Great experience and family friendly. Just 15 minutes from Niagara Falls NY. SO GLAD WE FOUND IT!!!More

We were surprised when we realized the geography of Grand Island, so while staying at the Radisson, we looked for a restaurant on the island itself. The Village in was a delightful discovery. The menu was diverse. The food was delicious home style cooking and...the portions were enormous! We ordered Hot Wings as an appetizer since we were so near Buffalo, primarily to take out for lunch tomorrow. We each sampled one and they were wonderful!! Spicy and tangy with just the right amount of heat at "medium." I ordered one of the daily specials, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and broccoli. John ordered the chicken Parmesan. Both plates were extremely generous and so very tasty that there was no room in the tank for dessert. Bummer. The double chocolate cake was so tempting at the next table over...More
