Owner, waitstaff, and kitchen crew are all tops! Great food and company! Plenty of seating without feeling crowded.

Owning a cabin on the mountain brings us to Grand Gorge several times a year. Without fail, we always arrive and depart Grand Gorge with a home-feel visit to the Creekside Café. Staff and regulars are friendly and engaging.

My wife and I enjoyed their Sunday buffet this AM. We sampled all options and were impressed with everything, although my wife was more fond of the home fries than me. I particularly enjoyed the sausage and my wife loved the fresh fruit. Service was...very friendly and excellent. We look forward to trying lunch here in the future. A very clean place and certainly a local favorite.More

Being new weekend residents in the general area we are always on the lookout for good places to eat. Our preference is basic comfort food and occasional fancier high end stuff. Decided to try Creekside based on the excellent reviews and we weren't disappointed. We...were obvious out of towners but was greeted as if we were good friends returning. Menu offered a nice selection of diner type food, all of which looked excellent. We had breakfast which was excellent. Everything was very reasonably priced. Excellent service, good food, reasonable prices, what more can you ask for?More

We appeared to be the only non-locals in the busy place for lunch. Our server, Bill, knew everyone by name. We were treated as good as everyone else. Service and food could not have been any better than it already was.

Was visiting family upstate and decided to eat at Creekside Cafe for breakfast. Everyone was very kind and accommodating and the food was delicious. Good sized portions. Found ourselves back again the next day and enjoyed the Sunday breakfast buffet. Definitely recommend if you are...in the area!More

I was looking for a bite to eat just before visiting family and new friends near the town of Roxbury and was very lucky to find the Creekside Cafe. As I understand it, the two brothers who do the cooking attended the Culinary Institute of...America and it really showed in the way the pancakes tasted. They were delicious, served with real NY maple syrup and butter; with hot coffee and orange juice the bill came to $6.25. Didn’t have to eat until dinner, the portions were that big. Now when I’m near Grand Gorge, it’s the Creekside Cafe for me. Ernie AlbanyMore

Christmas Eve in Grand Gorge, not a lot going on but stopped at the Creekside Cafe for breakfast. Being Sunday they have a buffet but we opted for a menu selection. Ultra clean, nice ciffee, great serving staff, friendly people and a fine breakfast, nothing...over or under cooked, just right. The home fries were particularly good. Very reasonable prices and as much coffee as you want. Well worth a visit.More
