Food here is really good, but there are a few problems. First of all, you have to choose the right thing on the menu or you'll be looking at the guy at the table next to you wishing you had ordered what he had. Second thing, the chef will not allow for substitutions, such as swapping out the rice for... More

The minute you enter Bistro Tallulah, you get the feeling you're in the Soho part of NYC. Low lighting, trendy, hipster vibe. Our server was at our table immediately after we sat, and she was extremely knowledgeable about every offering on the menu. There were appetizers, light fare and entrees, all described in mouth-watering detail, and, best of all, when... More

My wife and I ate twice at Bistro Tallulah. The kitchen turned out flawless plates. We thoroughly enjoyed, as appetizers, sweetbreads; shrimp and grits; and, especially, a dish named, simply, "beans and greens" (sautéed rapini and spinach, Italian sausage, served over white beans and their broth, with shaved pecorino-romano and fennel oil). Mains were just as good: braised chicken with... More

This is our go to place for dinner over the last 6 years. The salmon and hangar steak is always fab! Best mojitos EVER! A little noisy for intimate talks but a fun atmosphere.

While staying in Lake George, Michele and I were having dinner/drinks at Blue Water Tavern on the lake. We ran into some young men at the bar and was discussing the food. We were saying how good it was when one of the men asked us if we had ever heard of, or tried Bistro Tallulah. We talked a bit... More

Well thought-out menu, well executed. Love the small plate option. Fun, busy place with good friendly service.

We were here last summer and dined so many times at this restaurant. It truly is our favorite restaurant when we stay in Saratoga for the summer. Wonderful menu selections; pork chop, fried chicken, great salads, wonderful soups, etc etc... There are a lot of appetizer options and most entrees have small portions available. Yes, Saratoga has a lot of... More

A great place for a pulled pork sandwich, fries and a beer or an elegant pan seared scallop dish. The duck confit appetizer is a must for duck lovers.

A great bar/restaurant but this is NOT bar food. The service was very professional yet warm and the food amazing. My burger w sausage is by far the best burger I have ever had. Just outstanding! My wife had a pork cutlet over polenta that was wonderful. A great selection of beers. Well worth the short drive from Saratoga Springs!

I love this place. If I have friends in from out of town, and they want a fine dining meal, I go here. I'd recommend a meal, but honestly listen to the specials, because they get really creative. I have no qualms about driving a half hour for food like this.
