Great breakfast spot!

We found Kelly's Roots by chance due to a power failure in the area keeping us from where we planned to go, and boy am I glad we did. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast sandwiches we had were delicious and came out quickly and presented very nicely too. All in all a great meal at a good price, and the entire menu looked interesting and had something for every taste.

Interesting menu choices, plus food is fresh, tasty and they turn it out promptly. Staff is pleasant and efficient. This will become our go-to spot when in Glens Falls area.

Fresh and Tasty

My daughter and I had lunch here. The restaurant is friendly and bright, which matches their food: fresh and tasty. Plenty of options for the gourmet, vegan, or meat eater. Great sandwiches, salads, wraps, and soups.

Nice place for quick breakfast/lunch...

This is really a nice option for breakfast or lunch, something quick or not at all. Order at the counter and they're bring it to your table. Staff is very accommodating if you want to customize your order and it's all local fresh food, really delicious. Need more places like this! Will be back.

Relaxed.... Informal, refreshing, satisfyingly excellent

Great spot for our quick lunch family outing with our 18 month old (well behaved) grand nephew. It's not fast food....it's not slow food. They take your order at the counter, you pay, then find a table either inside or outside and they come to where you chose to be seated and you get served. The menu is not complex but varied enough so there is something for everyone. Indoor seating is limited, but a nice couple switched their large table with us so we could be together.... That's the kind of place it is! Perfect for our outing, great fresh food, the owner got her training in California, but came back home to Queensbury and we are glad she did! If you live or work nearby this restaurant is easy peasy and worth the visit!

A nice deli

A good range of offerings, with some nice outside seating. Been here several times, and have always been satisfied. In my opinion, a tiny bit pricey for a deli, but their products are a little more refined than your average deli, so maybe that's a toss-up. A good place, though - worth trying if you haven't yet.

Sweet Little Neighborhood Find!

We met up with a friend for a late morning breakfast at this newer casual breakfast/lunch restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. We chose breakfast sandwiches, which were fresh and well prepared. The coffee was plentiful and very good. The atmosphere is very casual but welcoming.

Good, but Really Just a Fancy Deli!

My son really likes this place, so my wife and I decided to try it. First off it is not easy to find even if you use a GPS. Seems to be some mix up on those electronic units as to its address. Smart phone found it! Ultra clean, sharp looking and super efficient! That pretty much sums up the initial impression I had of this place. Even the bathrooms were spotless. The help is in constant motion and seem to care about their jobs and the customers. The parking lot was packed, but you would never know it by the fast service you received. I had an Italian sandwich and my wife had the turkey bacon sandwich. My sandwich was a little disappointing. Not as large as I expected, and the meats were all clumped up and pressed together which did not really add to the flavor. Nevertheless it was good. My wife's choice was excellent. Good sized roll just packed with tasty turkey and bacon. Prices were reasonable as well, so overall this is a great spot for lunch. You can get in and out of here quickly, but you can also linger if you are not on a schedule. Perhaps because I have been to California many times that I did not really rave about this place. They are innovative with their combinations, but really it is just a deli type operation on steroids! My wife's sandwich actually upped my rating by a notch. If I am in the area I would come again, but not go out of my way.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

Everything on the menu is fresh, original and delicious. I recommend the Cali Bacon Wrap, the Egg and Cheese BLT, and the Campbell Turkey Bacon (it's on an amazing croissant!!!) Will be back, again...and again, and again, and again. Too good!!!

Sandwiches that impress

a combination of impressive quantity and quality with homemade but limited bread selection in a casual atmosphere. We get very bored with sandwiches but this was a step above the usual.

A Pleasant Surprise

The menu is not complex but varied enough so there is something for everyone. It's a breakfast and lunch place.There's outdoor seating under a roof in the open air should you choose to dine on a deck. I thought the food was great. There are wraps, sandwiches, soups, hot and cold beverages and lots of different sides. This place would be ideal for breakfast, or brunch or lunch.

Fresh, tasty, and innovative

Kelly's menu is a plethora of innovative selections. The chef owner studied in California and the options reflect that education. You have to check the menu on line to discover the tasty pairings of specialty items. For my first visit I had the Roasted Beet Salad and the Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad sandwich. The greens we're really fresh and the goat cheese and beets were delicious. Roasted pecans were numerous and oh so tasty. Loved the really fresh chicken salad with crunchy celery and cranberries. Mmm so good. Fortunately this cafe is relatively close to my home because I plan to continue to order everything on the menu. Also check out the breakfast items. They really reflect the west coast cuisine. It's great to have this innovative Cafe and Marketplace in Queensbury. This cuisine is sorely needed in our area.

Love This Place!!

I hesitated before posting this review because this place is so good, I don't want it to get too crowded. Lol. Such a cute spot with a lovely deck to eat on. Seems out in nature even though it's close to downtown. Perfect spot to eat my healthy but delicious breakfast. Their entire menu looks amazing. I had a simple egg, cheese and avocado croissant but it was scrumptious. They gave me watermelon as my side which was a nice surprise. Can't wait to see what fall offerings they have.

Great local food

Found this place from local paper, decided to stop for breakfast and was not disappointed. Breakfast burrito "New Mexican" was delicious with fresh ingredients, as was the acai bowl. Service is excellent and staff are friendly. Coffee was great also. If the weather is nice I recommend sitting outside.
