Finally stopped here after years of driving by and wondering why the parking lot is always full - now we know. Very good "comfort food" at reasonable prices with very good service. Steaks, seafood, and other dishes with large portions. They still serve a relish tea and home made bread with dinners too

A little back in the 70's with décor. A trip back in Time for sure! Great food. Love how they come out before your salad with a Green Bean Salad and a relish dish. The bread is homemade or at least I thought it was. It is homemade cooking. I had the Chicken Marcela and it was out of this... More

The prices are lower than most! The servings are larger than any around! There are MANY people who come up from New York City just for the prime rib! Open from 11:00 AM Wednesday thru Monday. They serve lunch or dinner all day long! Some breakfast items are on the lunch menu. Kitchen is open until 11:00 PM on Saturdays... More

11 of us went for lunch after our trip to the FASNY museum tour. The specials for the day were great and included delicious desserts. Most of us chose a special and were all happy with our choices. The service was great and we were given a great spot where we could all chat and reflect on our day. The... More

Oily, heavy but tasty, just the regular dinner by the road, perfect to watch baseball and have a beer.

Well prepared family-style food and more. Try the soft shell crabs and shad roe in season or the prime rib any time of the year for a delicious meal in the Ghent countryside.

...find your platform shoes and your widest tie and head out to Kozel's. Trapped in the 70s, this place is authentic retro from the menu to the wood laminate decor. I have eaten here a number of times and like going out to dinner with your parents, a relish plate arrives complete with black olives and 3-bean salad and home... More

Perhaps it was to late at 8pm on a Saturday,or perhaps their regular chef was on vacation but i payed 19 dollars for a seafood platter that was the worst i ever had in my life.Small portions and bad quality at that, cheap frozen brands, and the cream broccoli was sick looking setting in a puddle of milk.Never again!

In this region that is a good place. Nice vibe and great meat. The sea food plate not so much. Prices are low but that ia true for this region. 2 main with drinks 53 $ + tip.

We ate there, there was not enough waitstaff, the soup was salty dishwater, we sat ourselves. The shrimp scampi was flavorless. One of the waitresses tried to be very nice, but they were too busy to even smile. Poor ladies...I am surprised it's busy... Maybe their bar food is tastier. My husband's fried chicken fared better on the tastiness, just... More
