Excellent restaurant with consistent food and good service. It's worth waiting for the specials. They are moderately priced and well worth it. Reservations are a must.

The dishes are all prepared fresh. Fresh ingredients from the farmers market, fresh meats and seafoods. This was my 7th time and I always enjoy the food! Steak was to die for with the garlic butter! Will go back again and again

A favourite Partents' Weekend restaurant, this unassuming gem sits on the side of the road, overlooking train tracks and then the beautiful Lake Seneca. The contemporary sitting provides opportunities to dine inside and out, the latter under an extended roof, with a fireplace available when the weather turns cooler. The wine bar area is available for drinks and appetizers, or... More

I expected a bit more from Ports. We started with the baked Brie appetizer and it was good but heavy on the filo dough and light on the brie. They mixed in some sautéed onions into the jam which gave it more flavor but I'm not so sure it was a compliment to the other flavors. My wife had the... More

In town for a couple days of wine tasting, this was our best meal while in the area. Simple decor but fabulous food! We split the mussels for our appetizer ... and I'm still dreaming of the broth - the traditional preparation, but done to perfection! Husband had the steak fajitas and I did the chicken & shrimp in Thai... More

At the recommendation of our hostess Kathy at 1837 Cobblestone Cottage B&B, we visited Ports Cafe. It was undoubtedly the best meal of our trip. I had the rainbow trout served over a leek and chèvre polenta and topped with a roasted tomato and corn salad. One of the best fish dishes I ever had. The skin was perfectly crispy... More

My husband enjoyed his cucumber martini and I my blueberry mojito. We also enjoyed New England Clam Chowder. It then took forever to be served his baby lamb chops and my ribs. Everything was flavorful although his medium rare chops near the bone were raw. When we asked for a wrap, the half eaten chop was tossed. So was my... More

We come here at least once a year and have never had a bad meal. Food is always delicious. They did renovations and it's much more spacious. Allows more people to dine. I still recommend reservations as it fills up quickly. My husband got the steak special and I got the pork special both were delectable.

This is a must stop for dinner when visiting the area. Make reservations and ask for Melissa's table. She is a fantastic waitress. The muscle appetizer is very good - each of us, 9 people, truly enjoyed our meals.

Hitting the wine trail all day, needed a restaurant with a variety to please 11 people. Made reservations the day prior(highly recommend if its a weekend) We were seated soon after arriving. Nice varied menu, I had the Haddock, very good. Shared the clam chowder which is more of a fish chowder, it was delicious! Every one was pleased with... More
