We had so much fun! The room in the castle was small but quaint. We've also stayed at the Vineferra Inn, not as impressed. If you want to feel like royalty stay in the castle. No elevators though and LOTS of stairs.

Warm and quiet in January. Food was good. I ordered a Waldorf salad and my husband ordered a burger. All tasty

We went to the Castle and then headed for lunch at the bar inside. Amazing views of the lake and service was spectacular. It appears the kitchen is the same for the the higher end place here and also the bar. Food was very good! Gouda dip is fantastic and I had the fish sandwich which was awesome! My wife... More

My companion has a limited palate so we chose to eat here, versus the fine dining place (Edgars). The view and environment was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. That is the main reason for 4 stars. However, the food was just "ok" for the price paid (3 stars). I know it is off season, and, we were there on... More

Service was fast. Great atmosphere. Sat by cozy fireplace for drinks and dessert after dinner. Took husband for his birthday and we enjoyed ourselves

We ate lunch there as we toured the wineries. The food was good, although the menu was somewhat limited. Service was excellent and the location is very beautiful!

Great fireplace and cozy seating alternatives with a view of the lake. Excellent for drinks. Disappointed in lunch. Falafel was dry and bland which isn't hard for falafel but come on, let's not scrimp on the veggies and tzatziki. Just nothing warm and special about the atmosphere or service given the potential of the setting.

A good place to stop for casual fare. Enjoy the ambiance of Belhurst castle without the formality of Edgars. Nice outdoor seating if you get a break in the weather.

The disappointment of this experience may have been self-inflicted. We were visiting from out of town, had organized a "high end" dinner (at Geneva on the Lake) for the next day, and asked our local friends if they could recommend a casual less-expensive dining experience. We would have been happy with a diner, but by the time we arrived here... More

We had sandwiches. A fried fish sandwich and a falafel. The fish was good. Both served with a fried dill pickle. Both came with a salad on the warm plate with the sandwich.
