Was in the area and needed a slice after I read reviews I decided to have 2. Regular and grandpa. Both were very good. Nothing overpowered just enough sauce food amount of cheese. Both slices should have been a little hotter but must admit two...of the best slices I have had in a while. Pizza places are like contractors everyone thinks they can do it but good slices are not so easy to find anymore. This place is worth the stop. If I am in area again may have more than pizza.More

Prince Umberto is on our ‘go-to’ list when looking for good Italian food. We started with the small cold antipasto salad. I had Chicken Scarpariello- on the bone. I usually order this as it is delicious. Very large portion- leftovers always. My husband had the...Putanesca pasta- the sauce is so tasty. We each had wine. Our server Maryjo is so pleasant and always remembers us. I highly recommend this place- we sit in the dining room with the red and white table cloths. Fancy- no. Deliciozo - yes!More

I’ve been ordering from and eating at the Prince Umberto’s since I was a baby. The food is like real Italian home cooking, they have the best pizza on Long Island and they’re staff are the nicest people! Whenever we go in, it’s like being...with family :)More

I ate lunch here two days in a row by chance. First day was the chicken parm hoagie and the second day was two slices with sausage and pepperoni. Both were very good, but the chicken parm was better. I'm not much for all those..."specialty" slices they have, but I thought $4 each was a little much for a slice with two toppings... just sayin'More

Our daughter was visiting from Colorado and requested a good Italian meal.... we immediately thought of Prince Umberto. We had been here previously and enjoyed the food. We were a group of 7- our server MaryJo was very competent and took good care of us....We had a variety of Italian dishes starting with calamari, stuffed mushrooms and antipasto salad. I had an escarole and white bean soup. With these appetizers, we were almost too full for our meals.... but we managed- lol. Pasta puttanesca, Chicken Scarapaiello, Penne a la vodka with shrimp- just 3 of the entrees we had- I had getting hungry writing this review!!! The wine was good and there was even some room left for cannoli! Wine also good. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining here again. There is a pizza section and the more formal dining room where we ate.More

They make you feel like your at one of your relatives for dinner. The food is a WOW factor, everything I ever had there was lets see..., "WOW", that is how I feel. One night my wife and I go there and I had a...Woolly (something my family says when we crave something) for Pasta alle Sarde but it was not on the menu, so I asked the owner, she had her chef make it and it was just like my mother made for me. The place feels so comfortable, pictures of Italy, music on Friday nights. If your in the neighborhood you have to go there and try it. (Fridays need a reservation) I live near by so I go once a week>More
