A few blocks from the Erie Canalway (where we had been cycling) we found this clean and airy cafe, and a friendly and welcoming staff (an owner I think). Our coffee was customized to our requirements. For a snack we opted for paninis - cheese and caramelized onion was mine and was just right.
A reassuring touch in these Covid times was a marker on the table indicating the table had been sanitized. Customers can flip it over when they leave to indicate that the table has not yet been sanitized.
Work from local artists is displayed and available for sale, for example painted ceramic tiles by Wendy Costa.

Best coffee around!! Variety of coffees, teas, lattes, etc....Anything coffee, this is your place! Friendly hometown service! They offer curbside service, with an app, so you do not even have to go in. The menu is always changing, so you always have a good variety!!

While shopping in the area, we decided to stop for a Latte break. Their special flavor today was Maple Cardamom and it was fantastic! Just the right amount of each flavor and just the right temperature. My husband is very particular about his lattes and I was a little worried, since he has been known to take some sips, make a face and throw it out! I always tell him to let the barista know, so they have a chance to correct it. Anyway, he loved his hot decaf Maple Cardamom Latte with oat milk. The shop looks clean and comfortable, but we took ours to go. We will definitely come here again.

Hands down my absolute favorite coffee shop, your coffee is always perfect every time for just as much as your getting badly made coffee from Dunkin’ or anywhere else, the employees are very personable and make a point to try and get to know all the local customers and make your experience the best they can.

My wife and I stopped in for some coffee while we waited for our kids to complete their hunter safety course. We enjoyed the Pumpkin Spice Lattes (Homemade Pumpkin spice syrup so much we stayed for lunch and had a delicious bowl of French Onio Soup and a Turkey- Pepperjack Panini. Great service, great place to study, great place to hang out with your wife! We also had a Black Forest Pastry for breakfast! Excellent!

I have been visiting Highwheeler Coffee since they opened a little over a year now. Their coffees and teas are delicious, as are their baked goods, paninis, and soups.
Tonight we're enjoying a concert which they host a series throughout the year. They also have special events, usually held on most Tuesday nights.
You will find the establishment is always very clean, and the service is professional and friendly. I would highly recommend you visit and enjoy this cool place.

Today, I had a wonderful experience at Highwheeler Coffee. I had my usual cold match latte but had some delicious Caramelized Onion Soup. Colleen asked me if I had tried to Tomato, Pesto and Chevre Panini, and I was hesitant because I was unsure of the chevre....but I decided to try it and it is now my new favorite! The combination of all the ingredients worked so well together. What a treasure of a place!

When entering the coffee shop you are greeted by a wonderful fragrance of coffee! They have a large selection of pastries and drinks that are perfect for anyone who stops by. All drinks and pastries are made with organic local ingredients! If you're looking for a good cup of coffee and a place to relax, I highly recommend coming here!!

I'm not sure how much I can say. This place is fantastic! If you're in the market for top notch custom made coffee products, then Highwheeler Coffee is the best place. It's environment and friendly service make the place the number one hangout for friends and family. Wait no longer to find that "happy place" because it's all right here at Highwheeler.

I go here multiple times a week (sometimes multiple times a day), love the coffee and the paninis. Great atmosphere and professional staff. Wifi and AC makes it a comfortable spot to hang out. Monthly open mic showcases lots of local talent.

This is a wonderful addition to Fort Plain. We decided to meet here before we set out on an antiquing adventure. What a great find tucked away in this little town. There were a few varieties of pastries, but with time and popularity of this growing coffee shop I'm sure there will be more in the future. I tried the chocolate mousse cake while my sister had the baklava. So good! We were told that the desserts we chose were made on premises at the Farm to Table restaurant next door. While you enjoy your treats and coffee, be sure to check out the ecclectic artwork and classic books for sale as well.

I love the coffees and teas here. Each customer is valued and catered to with all kinds of coffees, lattes, specialty seasonal drinks and milk options. I LOVE the matcha tea latte, both hot and cold and the seasonal charcoal latte. Both are helping me stay healthy.
