By far, Katsuno is our favorite Japanese restaurant and we go often. It is authentic Japanese food wonderfully prepared. Everything on the menu is just great. We have worked our way through most of the menu andwe've settled on our favorites - Snow Crab & Avocado Salad, Steamed Asari Clams, Grilled Black Cod, and Nigiri Sushi Platter. But please don't... I told you last time I thought this place served up the best sushi in Queens and I was not kidding. They still do but probably because so many people come now they seem to run out of the highlighted items on the menu which made them oh so delish! I'm talking about the "Kama's" whether hamachi or amber jack... More

The food is authentic and to die for. Service was good, but not great for the prices. No one checked back after entree was served (the food was perfect). Cheap cheap cheap decor for a restaurant with $58 entrees.

I've been searched Japanese sushi chef restaurant in Queens, but it's was easy. So far, I only found one in Sunnyside and this restaurant. First of all, there is no English signage in front of restaurant. Either you have to remember address or restaurant exterior. Outside looks typical Japanese, but inside is nothing special. Hope the owner spend some money... More

Now let me first tell you that this place is not cheap! So for all those bargain sushi hunters out there that are accustomed to eating those AYCE Sushi places...don't even whip out your wallet for this place. I'm addressing all those foodies out there that appreciate fine sushi that you actually pay for what you get. This place ROCKS!!!... More

I love good sushi but getting it in FH is not easy. Picked this place on Yelp, and decided to test drive it. On Friday night it was fairly empty but then again its summer so many places are not that crowded. We were met with smiles from the staff and quickly offered drinks. Ordered Chirashi and two rolls, both... More

It's so nice that here in our little hamlet we can find an authentic Japanese restaurant. The decor is zen, the food delicious, and the service gracious. I've been there on 3 different occasions and it's been exceptional every time.

I've heard of this place but have not seen it anywhere. This invisible little Japanese restaurant is a bit pricy. The place is dinner only place, no lunch. My husband came here with his daughter many years ago so he decided to take me, his mom and his daughter for a nice treat. We had a great dinner. The waitress... More

We dined at Katsuno with guests who were visiting from Austria. We made reservations based on the reviews we read. Service was quite good. Everyone was attentive and our drinks were served promptly. We ordered the chef's choice appetizer, which is risky as you are allowing someone else to pick for you. It was a bit odd, consisting of pumpkin,... More
