If you think you've had good pizza recently, sorry to tell you but... you haven't till you've had theirs. This place no matter who makes the pizza has the same great taste. The lines are out the door a majority of the time and if your lucky to see an empty table grab it cause it won't last long. To... More

Went in search of a taste memory. During high school I would visit Gloria Pizza on Main Street in Flushing. A great slice fo 15 cents (20 with a drink!). Amore is supposed to be run by former Gloria folks. Hot out of the oven, the crust is super crunchy, covered wit a thin layer of sweet red sauce &... More

Looking for a quick pizza break? This is the place. Pizza fresh and pretty tasty. In and out; no worries if you are on a time limit lunch break. If not on a lunch break enjoy a cold beer with your slice

Best pizza in town. Have to go there before and after I go to LGA. Order a pie, I guarantee you you can eat the whole pie yourself. You cant go wrong ordering anything there. It'll be packed but the wait is worth it.

When you go into a pizzeria and you notice that almost everybody is having "plain" cheese pizza, no special toppings, that's a pretty good sign that this is really good pizza, and that is what Amore has - REALLY good pizza. Also, when the line to order goes out the door, they're selling something people want. So that's the story.... More

I have been going to Amore's since I can drive at age 16. Now I am 47 still go there for pizza at least twice a week. My son grew up eating there. Started with a slice, then he moved on to the Veal Hero on a plate. Now he's back to the pizza slices. Whenever I go visit my... More

We use to go to this pizzeria when we were kids. There were only two pizzerias that you went to if you grew-up in the neighborhood or were going to Adventures Inn across the expressway. Gloria's was one and the other was Amore's. I'm no longer a kid, and I moved out of the neighborhood years ago, BUT when ever... More

If you grew up in Flushing and loved Glorias Pizza then you have to go to Amore! The pizza is delicious.
