Lets face it, there are a ton of places to get a deli sandwich but it's not easy to find one that you actually say is Really Good and can recommend. Constantines is one that I can say is. In my opinion, Constantine's hero's fall...in between the sandwiches I've had at Se-Port Deli (Stony Brook) and Cherry Valley (Maspeth) (closer to Se-Port quality). To put it into perspective (IMO), I would describe Se-Port's heros as Delicious and Large. Cherry Valley's heros are Okay and Medium. Constines heros are Good and Large. Would definitely recommend to give it a try if you're in the area. I've tried over half their heros and my favorite so far is their "New Yorker" on a hero.More

Constantine's is located on a residential section of 48th avenue. A larger than I expected deli with seating in the back. The staff was very friendly and they seem to hustle quite a bit. The Big C; on the outside you may think this is...just your standard chicken cutlet sandwich, but looks can be deceiving. Melted American, lettuce, tomato, mayo, red onion and even bacon. Seems standard right? No! They add hot sauce which is ingenious and pumps up the flavors 100%. The chicken was tender and juicy and all the ingredients just melded well together. It's an excellent sandwich and they can be proud to call it their signature. Cuban Panini; another thing that you may think is pretty standard, but once again it is so much better. The bread was wonderful with the perfect amount of crisp and chew. The ham and roast pork were just the right ratio and the pork was incredibly juicy. Their surprise is a garlic chipotle mayo. Delicious! It's a wonderful place with awesome sandwiches and IMO are worth seeking out.More

Their classic deli sandwiches are great! Perfect for lunch on the go or to take on a picnic or tailgating. They use fresh bread from Joe's Sicilian Bakery and they have lots of choices. My favorite is the "beast"...YUM!!!
