Cooking on a crystal. Block come and letting kimchi. Flavor the meat. Incredible. Plenty of side dishes and soup make this a great choice with good service and decent pricesParking can be an issue. At times however. Very Korean inside. Not to many Occidentals like us but it is great.

The restaurant is surrounded by couple Korean restaurants. 10 min away from Flushing, had to take taxi. If you wanted to have barbecue which is one of their popular food you have to order 2 kinds of meats. Also they have other food selections, such as hot pot, kimchi soup and sea food pancake etc.. For 2 people, we had barbecue and tofu soup. It was way too much for us. As it came with couple small dishes like appetizers. The food is exactly same like Korean local food, according to my husband who had same food in Korea. But it's different Korean barbecue from Taiwan. Suggestion, go after starved couple days ^^. The amount of food is plenty enough. I would like to visit again and try different food next time.

We are still on our trail of NY Korean restaurants sampling and this is the 8th one since we returned from our Seoul visit in May. I think Han Joo is more known for its BBQ but at the time we were craving only for Mook Eun Ji, the casserole with Kimchi and pork neck bone. The K town ones we tried had a couple of more ingredients and the portion seemed slightly bigger than here. However, after our first bite of the pork, all was forgiven. Don't know how their recipe is different but their meat had the best and most flavors compared to the others. We also ordered pan fried tofu and soaked them in the pork bone soup, simply yummy! Majority of the tables ordered BBQ so probably we will come back to try that in the future.

To end my visit in NY my daughter (Korean) took me to Han Joo's for dinner. We were a party of 3 and ordered the pork belly and the beef BBQ. What a treat! Lots of tasty side dishes which the staff kept refilling for us. Service was excellent. Hoping that the newer Korean restaurant in our area turns out as good.

Went with friends to Han Joo last night, the Queens outpost, not the Manhattan one. Have to say, it was only average. Food was sort of bland...Certainly with all the side dishes served with the pork belly, it is filling, but I wouldn't trek out there again. Very good service.

Title says it all. Deliciously cooked pork belly at your table. The pork fat drips onto the kimchi that cooks with the pork so your kimchi is delicious and pork-flavored. Lots of tasty sides to accompany your pork -- pickled turnips, scallions, onions....Oh and we finished with a cold naeng myun that was amazing. The noodles had the right balance of crunchy and chewy and the broth was light and refreshing to cleanse your palate. So I guess my title didn't say it all.

I'm not Korean and can't proclaim to be an expert on Korean food, but having had it at multiple occasions at different restaurants at least, I must say this was the best I've ever had! A few more side dishes would have been welcomed, though admittedly we all rolled out of there as it was. The pork belly was excellent, as was the duck. The steamed beef mandoos were tender, the seafood in the seafood pancake flavorful and fresh.
