Unfortunately it is difficult to find Korean food in the area - we end up going to Palisades Park NJ to get our fix. Toro has a good selection of Korean dishes. Bibimbap is our favorite on their menu. Love the ketchup bottles with gojujang! Have had sushi appetizers there and were fresh and delicious.

A little gem hidden in a strip mall. Korean food at its best, though it also serves Japanese food. We have dined at Toro various time, and every dish has been satisfying and tasty. From their Pho to their Udon soups to their Hot Stone rice bowl every dish has its own tasty and deliciousness. The food is consistently good,... More

Hubby and I decided to take the kids (3 kids, under 11) out for dinner on a Friday night. I can't believe this place wasn't packed- we were out a little early though. Anyway, we were acknowledged by a server at the door and promptly seated. There are 2 white boards to occupy your time if there is a wait.... More

I sat at the Sushi Bar. Fresh clean delicious fish. I started with The Toro Sea World salad. I had the smaller size portion. Glad I did huge and plentiful. For my main courses with brown rice I ordered The Firehouse Roll and a Spicey Scallop Roll. All given a 5 Star. Highly recommend this venue.

A must-go place everytime I am in Fishkill and Poughkeepsie area. Soup stew and rolls are my favourite.

Good food but very cheap on soy sauce. I've never understood why. We did have some iridescent colors on the tuna that did not settle well with us.

We ate here with family for a party. Lots of food to choose from on menu. Everything tasted very good. Prices were reasonable and service was good. Decor was elegant looking.

I had a bibimbap craving while driving home from a business trip and was looking for a Korean restaurant. My first choice was closed and thus I "settled" upon Toro based upon a review I found elsewhere. I haven't had kimchi jun since I was in Korea and it called to me. It was very crispy with a few veggies.... More

I was passing through Fishkill and got a craving for some good sushi. I stopped in to Toro and left very satisfied. To tell the truth, it is a big place that can be overwhelmed very fast, so make sure you stop by at an off hour.

So much potential here. Problem: it's a large restaurant with one chef, two servers and a huge menu. It took forever to get a drink. Server could not say anything about the ten different sakes offered (could not say whether any was sweet or dry). Forever to get our food. Forever to get a second drink. When we tried to... More
