It's absolutely because you will always be accommodated by a great staff and of course the owner, Mario, who is always there with a smile to greet you and check on you during your dinner. Always a comfortable dining experience. The atmosphere, the food, and...the service...absolutely! Sure, I go to other restaurants, been to some of the best, yet Absolutely Mario's is one of the restaurants that always calls us back when we want a relaxed dining experience. Whether you are a couple, a large group, or family and friends, Mario is there for you, he's there for us, it's a special restaurant, and Mario is a special gentleman.More

This quaint restaurant located in an in an otherwise business district is a great surprise. The service is excellent and the food tastes like your old world Italian Nonna is in the kitchen. The portions are plenty and the drinks divine. I highly recommend you...give this restaurant a try be sure you won't be disappointed. We visited on a recent Saturday might and the place was hopping with a wonderful accordion player.More

My wife and I walked into Absolutely Mario's Restaurant to hear a family compliment Mario as they were leaving. We sat down and first noticed the clean and shiny silverware and the warm inviting ambiance. Mario came over and I mentioned his restaurant came highly...recommended. Our wine arrived and the glasses were spotless. We knew we were in for a treat. We thoroughly enjoyed the BAKED CLAMS OREGANATTA, but when we tasted the SEAFOOD BISQUE, OMG it was to die for. Mario must have heard us because he came over to check on our experience. He is very in tune with his customers as are his waitstaff. We were delighted. Shirley ordered CHICKEN PARMIGIANO lightly breaded in a traditional tomato sauce & mozzarella and I had CAPELLINI GAMBERETTO angel hair with chopped clams & shrimp in a light red sauce. Everything was perfect. It's the reason you go out to eat a meal in a restaurant. We didn't want to leave, so we ordered cappuccinos and Mario offered us an after diner drink. We really fell in love with this place. A friend had told me he loved it over a year ago and I only wish we had come sooner. The funny thing is as we were leaving we were telling Mario and his wife what a wonderful experience we had when another group of people arrived. And so it began again. We will be back ABSOLUTELY MARIO!More

We were a group of 5 people. The restaurant itself was very nice, nice atmosphere. They even had an accordion player strolling around playing music during dinner. As for the food, we all had something different and everyone enjoyed their dinner. The prices are moderate....The service was good and they practiced Covid 19 precautions.More

So you walk into this restaurant thinking ok its off 110, well looks are deceiving! The restaurant is welcoming , quaint and feels like home. Everyone was attentive to all our needs. The warm bread the artichoke appeitizer was only the start of a perfect...meal. The special tonight was homemade rigatoni stuffed with riccotta cheese that was decadent, followed by espresso and almond cake. Everything in this restaurant was delish. Quaint place, delicious food, excellent service. ‘Absolutely’ perfect! Every detail was attended to. We had the chicken in lemon caper sauce, and rigatoni filletto. Tartufo for dessert topped the lunch wonderfully. Can’t wait to return!

So Grateful! Thank you so much for taking care of my family after funeral services at Wellwood. The food was delicious. We were all served hot and delicious choices of either pasta, chicken or fish. I personally loved the brushetta. Service was kind and attentive...for our large group of 40. As an out of toner and former New Yorker it was great to have a delicious meal after an emotional day.More

I stopped here for the second time this year after a funeral burial at nearby St. Charles Cemetery. This time I got to spend a good amount of time talking with Mario. He is friendly and eager to please. It was a Saturday afternoon and...not to crowded so he spent a good amount of time telling us his story. It was an uplifting time after going through the funeral services. The food is terrific. We had pasta, chicken and fish and all were great. Calamari was delicious. We will be back!More

Otherwise I doubt we would have been able to get in. What a local gem, with ambiance, excellent service and food! A bit pricey, we’re from the Midwest, but WELL worth it! Now our top go to place for Italian when I’m LI.

Our first visit to Absolutely Mario's did not disappoint! We were greeted and seated promptly. The food and atmosphere were great! Our waiter Dennis was attentive, professional and personable. The salmon was done just right, nice and moist. The two different chicken dishes we ordered...were delicious, the chicken tender enough to cut with your fork! Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The owner Mario visited our table to make sure we were satisfied and even offered us a complimentary after dinner drink. Loved the attention we received! Ladies Room was very clean, which is a non-negotiable quality in the restaurants I choose to support. We will return soon!More

We were hear for a large family gathering. None of the family had ever been here but it was convenient to us. We had low expectations and boy were they ever surpassed! We started with a variety of antipasti. The meats and veggies were great....Calamari was cooked perfectly and the baked clams reminded us of our childhood Sunday dinners. I had chicken parmigiana which was breaded well and not at all tough. My wife enjoyed a pasta primavera. Overall the service was helpful and friendly and everything tasted great.More
