Was in a BIG hurry to get to a Barbershop Concert and was running late. The waitress seated us, and took our order-and then brought us orders in 12 minutes. The food was absolutely wonderful and the atmosphere was nice, if maybe a little loud due to a bachelorette party slightly out of control. Family oriented and overall I'd go... More

Had a great fish fry, and others tried the Shrimp Alexander and the Haddock a la French. All were excellent. The prices were great/reasonable. Service was fine as well. We got there about 5:45 on a Friday afternoon and it was full by 6:00. Glad we got there early. Visit Lombardi's Import Specialty Foods across the street while there. We... More

A nice neighborhood tavern. The food isn't anything special -- just average. Often times the food is not consistent (sometimes good, sometimes so-so).

This is a local tavern with atmosphere. They have a 100-year old Men's Room door! It is Clean well maintained and 50s and 60s music was playing in the background. They have free Wi-fi, but it was down when I visited. There is limited parking in the lot, but street parking is available. There are two areas - about 50/50:... More

I've been here before and the food was great. This time only so-so. We went on a Thursday (prime rib nite) and 2 of us had prime rib medium rare. It was on the wrong side of medium and tasted like it was a precooked piece that was heated up. One person sent it back and it still came out... More

The atmosphere is nice but my $34 NY strip steak was bland and tasted like it was fried in a skillet. I can cook a much better steak than that at home and the $34 price tag just doesn't make up for the salad and potatoes that came with the dinner.

I've lived in Fairport for almost 40 years and the Village Inn was here before me. I've always had good meals there. Menu has a good selection of favorite foods. Full bar too. Wayne & Pat have always been on site and support local community endeavors.

I came here for dinner because awhile back I was killing time and stopped here for a couple drinks. The bartender was friendly. The patrons were welcoming without being intrusive. It was a very nice old bar that didn't have that old bar smell. Dinner. I had shrimp alexander- a bunch of large shrimp on angel hair, perhaps a bit... More

We met friends here and had a wonderful experience. Located in the heart of town, this local favorite is home to a wide selection of beers and wines. While perusing the menu I noticed a garbage plate being brought to a nearby table and ordered one for myself. The home made hot sauce is right on the mark, savory and... More

This restaurant used to be great! However, the last time I went, I was disappointed in the food. Also disappointed in the white wine selection. Granted, this is a local restaurant and would naturally cater to the local customers. The service was great, the prices have increased.
