The only place in town that offers outside the run of the mill Chinese-American food. Can tell this when you see the clientele.

The owners prepare and serve the food and you can tell by the volume of customers of different backgrounds that this place is authentic. The lunch and dinner menus are very good. Been here more than 50 times over the years and it's as good as it gets.

The food I had from here was incredible! Really top-notch Chinese for a great price. But when we arrived, we were the only people there and we still had to wait for the one person working out front to clear off a table. There was also a long wait for drinks. They do serve a ginger tea, which was great... More

We just moved to the area and looking for some good Chinese food. My son and I visited here for lunch. We were obviously the first lunch customers of the day. The female owner does not crack a smile ever but I think it's just her true nature. She catered to my seven year-old in a way where she was... More

I'm at a loss for words over what to say about this place. Food is halfway decent. Prices are nice. But WOW, the environment was hostile when I went. A kindly old lady sat us at a table. Suddenly about two minutes later, we heard screaming coming from the other room. Enraged screaming. An elderly man (I'm guessing a cook)... More

Skip the American menu to order some of their better dishes: an outstanding Shrimp with Black Bean sauce (the salty fermented beans providing great flavor to the crisp, tender shrimp); the Beef Scallion Roll (the subtly flavored meat melts in your mouth, compensating for the somewhat greasy fry of the wrap itself); the Crispy Chicken with Ginger and Green Beans.... There is some authentic dishes that are quite good if you can get past the excessive oil that is in the meals. It is somewhat unpleasant, but most of the oil can be drained off. If you do that, the restaurant is 3 to 4 stars. Superb authentic Chinese food can be had at Red house.

This is one of the best authentic Chinese food in this area. Although sometimes you will have to wait a little bit, there is only 1 chef doing the cooking, it is still rewarding to go there. For Chinese people, they have the special authentic menu, I would suggest everyone to order from that menu.

Very good, tasty food. Out of the way a bit but well worth the trip to Endwell from Vestal. Service could be a friendlier by the woman who runs it. Seldom smiles, cook works very hard to make excellent quality, tasty food. Try chicken with ginger and string beans-it is delicious.
