Came here after researching and was pleasantly surprised there was a Zagat rated Dim Sum in the area. Well I must say that something has deteriorated since this rating and it should be taken away. Our Dim Sum order was from hunger and the crab fried rice had no crab. The restroom was a complete turnoff as well. Sorry, but... More

Authentic Chinese cuisine for real! I love their crispy orange beef. Friendly staff.... Chinese but very nice people I've known for years. The walnut prawns were amazing too! Chicken feet I've tried twice and they were good. Their vegetables were fresh not soggy. Try their shomai. My favorite Friday dinner for years! Look for Alex he's very accomodating. They give... If you are a dim sum novice or don't speak Cantonese, ordering can be intimidating. It's usually an experience of ladies pushing steam carts around saying what they have in Cantonese. I've noticed in general they don't yell so much anymore which I miss. It added ambiance. So what does Ping's offer as a big plus? They have picture menus... More

This place is a couple of blocks west of the Grand Avenue subway station. My wife sometimes comes here for dim sum with her Chinese friends. I'm not into dim sum. I came here for the weekday $6.95 lunch special, selecting the sesame chicken with white rice. The quality of the chicken meat was very good and it tasted great.... More

If you want to go there for dim sum, then forget it. It is every expensive comparing to the other Chinese resturant, and the taste is not justify the price.

I have come to Ping's Seafood for dim sum and dinner many times. I think they may have changed chefs because the quality of the food is no longer that good. The shrimp noodle (cheung fun) had really small pieces of shrimp compared to the past. And the noodles would break very easily making it very hard to bring to... More

Had to visit Chinatown during my vacation. Pings was recommended by my hotel concierge. I am a big fan of Dim Sum, and am familiar with it from Chinatown Chicago. Pings did not dissapoint. They were busy at 1:00 PM for lunch, and the carts were constantly stopping by and offering great, fresh, hot food. Even though I do not... More

Very decent food but as other posters have said, it would benefit more from modernisation and a more professional level of service.

A fun dining experience for brunch. For those not familiar with the concept, dim sum restaurants are Chinese restaurants serving a variety of Chinese delicacies brought around by carts. Flashing screens near the ceiling show many of the dishes with their Chinese names. Dumplings (dim sum), pork rolls, shrimp specialties, turnip cakes, puddings, fruit and a wide variety of authentic... More

This place is great if you live in the area and don't want to head out to Chinatown or Flushing. One of the best things about this place is it has its own parking lot across the street from it so don't need to worry about parking like in Flushing and Chinatown. The food is pretty on par with Chinatown... More
