In town for the Taste Of Ellicottville, we made our 1st visit to Ellicottville Brewing and loved the various seating options and look and character of the place. We started with the 6 beer flight of Mango Jerry, Pretzel Bender, Blood Orange, BBW, Pineapple Orange Whip and Monroe Pilsner. We liked them all but settled in on the excellent Pineapple Orange Whip and the Blueberry Wheat.
They have an enticing menu, but I had to go with my favorite sandwich the Beef on Weck. It was excellent with a great roll, au Jus, and plenty of salt, served with some very good fries though they usually come with house chips. The only negative was that it was priced at $21 and yet 1 block away the Gin Mill serves this sandwich for $15. Their across the board pricing was the only thing that kept it from getting a 5 rating. My wife liked her EBC brew chicken burger and the unique summer slaw that had a nice crunch, a type we had never had before. I know Bidenomics has hurt everyone over the past 3 1/2 years, but you seem to have taken the pricing to the extremes.

We (group of 4) went here on a Saturday at lunch time on a good skiing day, so we had to wait 25 minutes for a table. But it was okay - we left our name and were able to walk into some of the small shops nearby. Food and drinks were all good, though a bit expensive. I had the southern fried chicken sandwich and it was AMAZING. Our friend got the rice bowl and it had a lot of lettuce in it which was a bit disappointing. Service was fine. Will definitley return for that chicken sandwich if I’m back in the area!

After enjoying their beers through supermarket purchase upstate NY, we chose the brewery as our first night restaurant during Holiday Valley ski vacation. Well designed ambience outside and inside. 30 min wait holiday weekend Sunday but we went early (5pm). Friendly staff. Beef on Weck was super fresh tasting. Burgers were huge and perfectly prepared medium cooked. While grilled cheese and tomato basil soup was good, $20 is a bit pricey for that plate. Beers were great as always.

We stopped here for the first time last weekend on our way down to our Cabin in PA .... we always drive through Ellicottville but rarely stop. Food was fantastic. There is so much variety and the atmosphere is so cool. Our server was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Portions are HUGE so you do get a great value. I had the classic Gouda Mac and I only got through a quarter of it ... brought it home and fed to hungry teenagers with the leftovers! My husband had the spicy African peanut soup ... delicious and not too spicy!

The food and atmosphere were good. The staff were friendly. However, the management has a one check per group policy. Our group of seven is not what I would consider to be overwhelming. So if you are by yourself or with a group where one person wants to pay, I would recommend this place. But for everyone else, it is best to go somewhere else.

Can’t recommend this restaurant. Terrible calamari with teriyaki poured over it. New vegetable Asian noodle dish was not fresh tasting. Lingering aftertaste from something artificial. Fried haddock was over breaded and over fried. Even the French fries were bad!

We have been eating at this restaurant for years, but this past Friday we had an unsettling experience. Ordered two fish dinners with extra tartar sauce. Also several beers and wine plus an additional purchase of beer to go.. We have done this many times. These dinners are already the most expensive in the area at $21, but we always felt they were worth it. However, when we received the bill we noticed that we were charged an extra dollar for the tartar sauce. I expect to be “nickel and dimed” by the airlines, but not this restaurant.

We enjoyed our lunch here even after we were left waiting at the front door for no reason (it wasn't full or busy). The bartender made eye contact with me a number of times and did nothing as we stood there feeling somewhat unwelcomed. Make people feel welcome, its not hard, don't leave them standing there for ages. Anyway, eventually they got organised (front of house needs leadership- being run by teenagers) .Overall we had a decent, pleasant lunch.

We ate there twice. The evening indoor experience was not so pleasant: it was dark, crowded and noisy. Our afternoon lunch the next day was a great improvement: it was beautiful and quiet, with tables nicely spaced. Food was good and plentiful, if a bit expensive, and the children's menu was particularly generous. I ordered the grilled romaine, a new experience. It was tasty but sadly upset my stomach.

Read great reviews and chose to eat lunch here. BEAUTIFUL and stunning plantings all around the restaurant - we spent a while just admiring them. We commented to the hostess how much we loved all the flowers and then she sat us in an inner room where we couldn't see ANY plants... ? Our meals were very good - hubs had the Tuscan garden pasta which had a lot of unusual things - pistaccios, olives, etc. He liked it a lot. I had the chicken caprese sandwich with a side salad. Sandwich was very good but I think the chicken was too thick and on the dry side. Side salad was nice and fresh with good greens. So many good options on the menu - wish we didn't live so far away!

We ate here with two little kids (5 and 7) and everyone in our party was delighted with their meals. Excellent options, and not just typical bar fare. Very good food, tasty, fresh, and flavorful.
A gorgeous dining patio, and just a generally awesome atmosphere. Josh was our waiter and was very helpful. Just an overall fabulous experience! We will definitely be back.
My 7-year-old's opinion, unprompted: "This is my new favorite restaurant IN THE WORLD."

We went on a Sunday and they were busy, but we didn’t wait too long to be seated. Service was pretty slow but again they were pretty busy and our server (who was very nice) seemed to be waiting on most of the tables. Pretzel and beer cheese were good. Both of our English pub burgers lacked half of the toppings/sauce described on menu. The fries were pretty subpar. We have been there before and it has always been pretty good but this visit fell short.

Great local dinner spot! 45 minute wait on a Friday night but there is a bar you can have a drink at while you wait. The food and service were well worth the wait! Food was fantastic . There is a kids menu but they do not print it so just ask your server. Will definitely be back!

This is one of the best breweries around. The money dumped into it has produced a stunning facility, I love taking the tour.
But what a disappointment the food was this time.
Guacamole straight out of the freezer with no taste. Tortilla chips like the ones you’d get across the street at Tops. Burnt Ends were clearly from a bag dropped off by the like of a US Foods, with a little “Carolina Sauce” splashed on them.
The Caprese Chicken Sandwich was cold. Ugh what a bad meal.
The front door staff were typical distracted kids, however our server was very good.

The food was really good - menu is full of good options - cost of the food was reasonable and the service was quick and efficient. The burgers and fries are classic and good portion. The quesadillas also tasty. Good option!!
