This place started as a small fish fry and branched out (23 years later) into other (mostly) seafood items; lobster rolls, scallops, clam strips, chicken fingers and hot dogs. The menu is available online. You can also call in orders, and even order online. Most likely, you order at the counter and pick up your food for eat-in or take... More

Ordered the fish dinner with fries and slaw. Fish didn't have much of a taste. Somewhat soggy if that is possible. Fries looked like they had been sitting around for awhile. Luke warm. Limp. The slaw was pretty good. I never know what the deal is with the soft drinks either. While most places give you free refills, I'm not... More

We ordered two haddock dinners with sides. The chowder was delicious. The haddock was quite good. Overall we were very satisfied. Their website is excellent for ordering online.

I get haddock dinners here at least monthly for takeout for myself and for a family member in a local nursing home. The fish is always delicious and comes with two sides - we usually get fries and beans or coleslaw in place of the beans. The fish is always fresh and never greasy. All the sides are also delicious... More

Overpriced for mediocre food. Haddock was decent and clam strips were okay but the sides were horrible. French fries soggy and raw, coleslaw was mush. There was something very wrong with the cocktail sauce. For the price could have had a much better dinner elsewhere. First and last time for me.

If you like some fried fish and seafood JD's won't disappoint. The people there are always super friendly and helpful. The summer menu is better (shrimp or fish tacos) but my favorite is the grilled shrimp on the skewers. JD's has the best French fries. It ain't the Ritz so don't expect gourmet food but if you want a fried... More

Been there many times. I think it used to be better. We went last week. 2 girls behind the counter were terse and not polite. I tried the mac and cheese for the first time and it was horrible. It was cold and worse than Kraft instant (or maybe that's what it was). Chowder and fries were good. Fish was... More

Ordered scallop dinner. Scallops were awesome, cole slaw was divine. Large selection of delicious dipping sauces. This will be my weekly treat!

JDs Fish and Grill has a fantastic fish sandwich and superb onion rings! The prices are about the same as another popular fish place Doug's Fish Fry. But the quality is on par with Doug's, they did come from the same company. I recommend this place if you want quality seafood this far from the ocean.
