Coziest spot to have a good hearty breakfast. Kid and pet friendly. It's packed in the summer but the quality of the food is still excellent.

We stopped here on our last morning on our way to the station. The food was fine but it is all in cardboard baskets, including the yoghurt and granola. No table service but good for a quick bite.

Although the food was good, it was a little basic and lacked anything outstanding. Service was good. The toilet facility was very small.

It was very busy and the small place felt much smaller. Had to make my way to the front to order. We lucked out and found a table open. I ordered the omelette with herbs and veggie. It was huge and I think we could have done one for two people easily. Came with some fruit and toast. Despite how... More

A staple in the village of East Hampton, The Golden Pear also has locations in Southampton and Bridgehampton. Great soups, sandwiches, coffee, ice tea, salads, and hot food you can select from to create your own plate of delicious food. Recommended for all!

Always a good experience. This location is very narrow and difficult to walk past the tables when they are they have a location in each Hampton, and Sag Harbor

Limited lunch menu, portions & presentation were good but not much effort to deliver in taste. The coffee was better than the food.

I went in yesterday for a muffin and a iced tea. Over $8.00 for both was about twice what Citarella or Starbucks would have charged me for the same, and neither is known for low prices and both are around the corner. Pity as I always try to support a local business.

Stopped in for a quick bite before a meeting. Turkey chili with bread was tasty, but not $12 tasty for a small cup. I get it, it's the Hamptons, but I can get better value on the UES of Manhattan.

Like everything in the Hamptons, expect to pay more for something you would normally pay less for in other places. The Golden Pear offers sandwiches and salads for lunch. Also some prepared dishes to take out. There are a few tables but it's not a fancy place. It's average and predictable.
