If you enjoy a full diner menu and authentic diner food then visit the Buccaneer, which is one of my go-to places for meals when near La Guardia airport. Conveniently located a few blocks away they have ample free parking and your traditional diner menu. The breakfast food is great, sandwiches are big and plentiful. Could use a major facelift... I had eggs, potatoes, sausage, and toast. Potatoes had no flavor and were burnt on top, sausage was terrible, and the eggs were OK. The toast was the best part. Service was below average. I won't be back.

Terrific diner food with the typical menu and plenty of great desserts to choose from. There was adequate parking. We were there when there was very few customers in the restaurant and the wait staff seemed a little preoccupied on there phones. We had to request extra water and the check and we were never checked on during the meal.... More

We didn't eat anything all day. It was around 1am, we Googled "food near me" and this dinner came up, as open, this was my second visit. He wanted a Tuna Melt on a wedge, they didn't have Wedges. Instead he got a cheese burger deluxe, he was happy. The lettuce n tomato was on the side and the fries... More

I was referred to Buccaneer diner and it did not disappoint. The food portions were large and tasty. The people whom ran it seemed to be a family or worked together so long it seemed like family. I received great service and look forward to returning.

Excellent food. Wonderful waiters and waitresses. Have been coming here for many years. We love the teriyaki combo. Enough food for two to share.

This is the second time we ate at the Buccaneer Diner; we were there several years ago. We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard at LaGuardia and this place is close and you can even get the Hotel to shuttle you there and back. The menu is enormous and you can order anything 24/7 from that menu. The portions are huge... More

When I lived in the area I visited the Buccaneer lots of times. It was convenient, but food was fair at best. The most recent and final visit was horrid. Poor service with unclean habits, feet on the diner counter, bad food... Maybe there was a change in management. Never again for me.
