A small, out-of-the-way Mexican restaurant in the village. The food is excellent. We especially like the steak tenderloin burrito...the steak is so tender and lean and a very generous portion.

Went on a Saturday night and waited about 20 minutes for a table. The menu was very big and we were pleased to see many vegetarian selections. We tried 3 of them and found them all to be much too rich and cheesy for our liking. Even the vegetables were greasy. We will not be back, but we might be... More

Ive eaten here quite a few times. Once there was beef in the middle of my vegetarian burrito. Seems to have a lot of staff turn over. Hit or miss seems to be a good way to describe it. I wish they would up their game a little.

Stopped for a late lunch on a Sunday, so it wasn't busy or loud. I customized a burrito bowl and it was huge and filling. Loads of meat and lettuce/cabbage. The pineapple salsa had just the right amount of bite. My companion also got a burrito bowl and liked hers too. The waitress was patient and attentive, but we weren't... More

I've eaten here in the past and have enjoyed it, but the last time I went was during a dinner rush and the experience was awful. The frozen margaritas were bland and the food took over an hour to arrive (which I understand they were busy) but when it finally came to the table the steak quesadilla was swimming in... More

Great Mexican restaurant in East Aurora, NY. We have eaten there for years and it is still a local favorite. The service is good, the food is very fresh and delicious. Their hot sauce is homemade and it is medium heat, but they have a hotter version if you desire. They have a nice bar area and have outside seating... More

Delicious south of the boarder food that's fresh, clean eating without sacrificing flavor. I had the Chicken Skewers with rice. The dipping sauce was so yummy I could have eaten it with a spoon. The chicken was grilled and tender and the pineapple salsa could have been a meal all its own. Usually rice at Mexican restaurants are awful but... More

Stopped in by accident hoping for a takeout breakfast taco or two. The newly-constructed (I imagine) restaurant is in the rear of a parking lot in the otherwise "tony" (and quite attractive) town of East Aurora. Arriba does not offer breakfast tacos (too bad), so I settled for a chorizo taco to go. It was quite tasty, nicely decorated with... More

It's friendly with good service and surprisingly good food. Reasonably priced too. Beers and cocktails are available. Definitely worth a visit.

Having never been here we were taken as a daughters choice for her "Birthday Dinner" and we were pleasantly surprised. Not a big place by any means and somewhat hidden in a small strip mall, but worth finding if you want tex/mex. They have a large marqarita menu and fairly extensive food menu. Service was friendly and very attentive and prizes... More

Description
A pleasant surprise; but first, upon entering Arriba Tortilla in East Aurora we were skeptical. Decorations reminded us of the Mexico we had visited many times in the past, but upon closer inspection we noticed the “cafeteria” quality seating. Servers, although very nice, were very slow considering the few patrons in the restaurant at the time.

We decided to make the best of it and ordered the “house margaritas” to go with the complimentary fresh made chips and salsa. Chips are excellent and salsa, like spaghetti sauce, can differ with the chef or family preparing it. The quality of the margaritas tipped the scale so we did proceed to the menu. We would, however, suggest serving margaritas in margarita glasses, not Manhattan glasses.

We ordered the Grilled Steak Fajitas and the Shrimp Skewers. Both were unbelievably good.

Very large portions so we will enjoy the other half for lunch tomorrow.

The steak fajitas were $17.42 and served with tortillas. It arrived on a sizzling hot iron server with peppers, onions and a side of guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream. It was also served with a dish of rice, refried beans and corn pudding. Steak was very tender and had great flavor.

The Shrimp Skewers were 11.24 and came with 3 wooden skewers of 5 shrimp each. They were wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The plate included very flavorful moist rice with pineapple salsa and jalapeno jelly.

Margaritas were $4.50 each. Despite the slow start we will definitely race to this place again.
