Stopped during wine tour of Seneca lake for a sandwich. Food and bakery were very good. We got sandwiches and ate at the winery. As a vegetarian I usually feel slighted but had an amazing sandwich.

The wine and food are very good and it is wheelchair accessible, but the parking lot is all stone and that makes it hard to get on the ramp for the winery to do the tastings. We did take out for sandwiches and desserts. The...food and service are very good. We will go back, but not for a tasting unless they pave the area by the ramp.More

We did a vineyard tour after calling to schedule due to less than one week notice. The tour was SO educational, relaxed, and we had tastings along the way while standing beside Aurora hybrids and I believe Concord grapes. Both whites and reds were on...the menu with a very healthy portion of assorted meats, cheeses and nuts with more sampling after the outdoor tour. The vintner was educated, easy to listen to, passionate about the vineyard. Definite must do!More

I stopped with family to this winery and ordered a sandwich. It was delicious. Their carrot cake was also very yummy. Then after we went to have a glass of wine, I enjoyed the wines that I tasted and bought two bottles. Would definitely visit...again.More

A great spot with a nice deli and bakery and a lovely wine room. Maggie was a great tour guide and gave us an amazing tasting of the estate wines. I preferred the traditional rose and dry Riesling personally. A nice spot for lunch and...a tasting.More

What a great bakery! So much to choose. They have a lovely selection of cakes, pies, cookies, and candies. And breads too. I bought a mini key lime pie, mini pavlova, elephant ears, and a chocolate cake slice to take home. All homemade and delicious....On the deli side my chicken salad was freshly made with grapes and apples, on homemade bread. Husband got a grilled turkey with peppers and cheese. Their quiches looked amazing but that will have to wait for next time.More

6 of us go to the Finger Lakes for the past4 years. Some wineries take reservations and some do not. We decide to stop at Tabora to see if they could fit us in for a wine tasting without a reservation. We arrived to an...empty wine tasting area met by one of their wine servers who seemed annoyed we did not have a reservation and told us he could fit us in but said he had 5 people with a reservation coming in an hour. We said ok but I’m sure it won’t take us an hour to do a tasting. He said it could be awhile depending on which wines we chose blah blah blah. He insisted we take the first6 chairs and by mistake we were one off. he annoyedly let us know we weren’t in the first 6 seats. Ok sorry dude. Other groups appeared after us without reservations and none were the 5 with reservation, and they were seated without hesitation or having to hear his schpeel that he has a group coming on an hour. With each group he looked at his watch and reminded us he had a group coming in what was about 45 min at that time. He now had help so he should lay off the attitude. . If reservations are necessary then all he had to say was I’m sorry we can’t accommodate you without a reservation. We would’ve left and found our way to another winery. Wines were good but this older gentleman left a bad taste in our experience. Note: make a reservation or don’t get him to help you!More

If you're looking for a wonderful deli for breakfast in the Finger Lakes region, look no further than this delightful eatery. Scrumptious, delicious, fantastic ... these are some of the superlatives this wonderful establishment deserves. I ordered the breakfast sandwich. My wife and daughters ordered...the quiche, made with farm fresh eggs, local cheeses and spices. Quiche lovers will be overwhelmed at the selections, all delicious and wonderfully filling. Not to leave out the pastries, pies and breads. And after all this, you can walk across the parking lot to the wine tasting. A gem just off the main drag (highway 14) a ten minute drive north from Watkins Glen, this eatery is a must for any serious foodies. Enjoy! You won't be disappointed.More

My friend and I spent 4 days in the FLX region where we were vending at the FLX Wine Festival in Watkins Glen. On our last day there , which was a Monday, we took the extra day to hike Watkins Glen and spend some...time exploring. After the hike, we were starving and desperate for lunch and a place to rest and relax. We found that 90% of the wineries in the area either had no form of food service or were closed on a Monday. I know it's Monday, but geez, this area was teeming with visitors mid-summer. After some searching online, we stumbled onto Tabora which stated that they had a deli and bakery. So we headed over and ordered sandwiches, salads and a desert from the deli counter and ate them outside on the covered rear porch area. What a delight! Everything was very very good! We also bought a bottle of their Rose wine to have with lunch and we really enjoyed it. As we were leaving and standing in line to buy another bottle of the Rose to take with us, we ran into some other patrons who were talking about the wine tasting they had just done in another building across the parking area. They suggested we go do it and said the woman working there was very knowledgeable, so we decided to give it a try. We walked into the lovely big barn area where they do tastings and found we were the only ones there except for Jean who was behind the bar. We had the bar all to ourselves so we saddled up and told Jean about the rave review she had just received across the way. We chuckled and then, she served up two flights of wines that were really surprisingly excellent! AND, she was, in fact, very knowledgeable about each one and really added to the experience with descriptions and suggestions! After about an hour of delightful wines and conversation, we ended up joining their wine club, buying a case of wine and had a memorable experience enhanced by conversation with Jean who we found to be a kindred soul. She even carried the case of wine to our car for us. We will be back in the area next year for the festival and this will definitely be our go to spot and we will be ordering wine from them the rest of the year. Many thanks to Tabora for serving lunch and to Jean for a wonderful afternoon!More

There's few places to eat on Seneca Lake while wine touring. This is a definite stop. Everything is homemade! Lunch & dessert! Amazing Selection of quiches, cookies, pastries, break, salads and sandwiches, etc. They are very fast getting your order made. The winery is pretty...cool, too! Bring jacket in case it's cool on the patio. Get extra for breakfast next morning.More

I went here with a group of girls for my bachelorette weekend and it was a highlight of our wine trial journey. Excellent wine, food, and staff. There were so many desert and food options. We visited in May and it was a cold weekend,...there were not a lot of options for indoor dining unfortunately when we came. We did sit outside and it was pretty cold, would be absolutely fine on a warm dayMore

After a morning of wine tasting, we needed a light lunch. The winery suggested Tabora. My wife and I split an artisan sandwich and browsed (it takes a while to get the sandwiches made). Lots of great baked goods on display, so we grabbed some...for the next day's breakfast at our inn (which did not offer a real breakfast). If you plan on dining at Tabora this time of year (winter/fall), bring a jacket because there isn't really a dining room; just outdoor with heaters. The sandwich and bread were fresh and quite good. This would be a great place from which to pack a picnic for a day of wine tasting.More

Do not know as I do not follow that diet. Regardless, their baked goods are varied, beautiful to look at, reasonably priced and best of all, DELICIOUS.
