Good Food, Unique Space, Fantastic Service...... Reviews that state if you blink you will miss it, astonishing. Any of the stores along Douglaston Parkway are unique and cater to neighborhood. This establishment donated to local organizations every year. They have made it through the Pandemic. We have to support out community or these stores wont be able to last....
The Avacado Toast with the Sunny Side Egg was delicious....

I have been eating food at this establishment since it took over and revamped the space. I have never had a bad meal, and If I had I would have said something and they would have made it right. They do catering also which I have used in the past. I went to chef school I know how to cook so I always look for flaws. They get my vote, Just Call me Burrata JD, My favorite salad there.....

Went here with my family just looking for a diner to eat. Great spot without the diner feel to it. Wait staff was quick and attentive and the food was delicious! I had the Cali Eggs Benedict.. would recommend trying if you ever stop in. Hope you enjoy the place as much as we did! : )

I met some friends for dinner here on a recent Saturday. If you are looking for fine dining, this isn't it. But if you want good Greek food, huge portions and very reasonable prices, this is your place. Unfortunately, the goodies are package deal with very slow and distracted service.

They have remained stellar even during the last year. From the Avocado Toast to the Burrata Salad, to The Hibiscus Ice Tea. This is one amazing restaurant and Friday they are back open and ready for 35% Capacity. Shop Local or we will have nothing left in our commercial strip. Douglaston Strong...

The Parkway Dinner was a great dinner now its Permanently closed another tragedy to the economy I am going yo miss their food the staff and the owner Its a darn shame

Great place/ my daughter was in North Shore Hospital and I came here once for breakfast / once for dinner.
Both times were outstanding and wonderful staff and owner.

This little restaurant was convenient to my friends condo and I went there everyday during my visit. I really enjoyed the shakshuka. The food is good and the wait staff was always pleasant.

Back last week in Douglaston where I grew up. I had passed by the Parkway Diner a few times before and figured we'd give it a try. What a nice--very nice--surprise. The interior is cozy, the staff was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the food was superb.
The first visit was for breakfast. My wife and I both had omelettes. I had the Parkway omelette which was fabulous--avocado, tomato, mushroom, and cheddar. My wife had the cheese omelette with egg whites and she loved hers--plus, her glutten free requirements were happily accommodated. Also the coffee was excellent, and frequently refilled.
We liked our breakfast so much, we returned the very next day for lunch. We both had the grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella--mine on ciabatta bread, hers glutten free w/o bread--with coleslaw. Superb!
We will definitely return whenever we are back visiting family in Douglaston.

Three adults and two little ones tried an otherwise empty diner at a 12 noon weekday lunch. Food came fast, with lots of fries with every dish. They were uniformly better than the dishes. Kids Chicken fingers ($7.95) went uneaten after two bites. Kids Grilled Cheese ($7.95) was fine. Southwestern Chicken wrap was good. Special Spinach Pie ($9.95) was old, had no phyllo pastry to mask the mushy inside, but the dinner salad was good, as was the vanilla milkshake.

It’s nice to have a diner in the area. The food was good, but what you would expect from a diner. Staff was very nice and I would recommend. I’m sure this place will be a regular stop for us.

I've had breakfast and lunch at Parkway and was struck by the generous portions, the wide variety and the delicious taste. Food here doesn't taste like restaurant food-it's closer to homemade.
Staff is efficient and friendly-a mix not often seen nowadays. Your coffee (delicious!) is kept topped up and staff see to your culinary happiness without being overbearing.
Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Egss cooked to perfection and back and sausage juts so. My wife had pancakes-again done perfectly, with excellent potatoes well.
Lunch was another delight: Grilled Rueben that delighted the taste buds. My wife had an excellent Cobb Salad. topping ti off was Disco Fries-something that must be experienced.
The neighbourhood lost the Scobee diner some years back. Parkway is a most worthy successor.
Hints: Parking can be a bit dodgy, do allow a few minutes to get a spot. Lunch is pretty busy, but theres always a few seats left. Even whilst busy, food came quite quickly with no loss of taste or quality.
