I asked Monique for authentic local food. She said her cooking is the same her mother and grandmother did. It was all good, all 10 courses. The wine was excellent too. My favorite dish was the vegetable casserole.

Typical regional menu, well-prepared a bit "à la campagne". It was nice sitting on a terrace, outside with a view on the village. Staff, including madame, was very friendly but didn't bother to ask whether we wanted a "petit café" as final touch. Pity. Only...More

We drove some way to have lunch here and were not disappointed. Situated in a small rural village it is worth making the effort to eat here. The menu is a traditional one; we started with a wonderful home made vegetable soup, with pate, lamb...More

Restaurant was full, so it's essential to book. Great atmosphere- everyone so friendly. We all had the €18 Plat, each course with choices. Soup, starters of pate, then lamb, duck, fish with plenty of vegetables- courgette bake and tomato farcie were delicious. Highly recommended.

Dining is more than just the quality of the food and that is why this place is so special. Apart from the fashion of the clothes worn by the diners, I suspect little has changed in either the warmth of the welcome or the quality...More
