Very good food, very good experience, no bad items on the menu always tasty and an experience that is just cool. Parkside is a classic neighborhood place that stayed in the neighborhood even after the neighborhood changed. It didn't need to move because people who know and appreciate what it is will travel to go there. Not pretentious, not overly... More

I've eaten here twice this week. The first time the service was exemplary, both times the food was terrific (rigatoni alla matriciana). Past visits in prior years have me thinking that red sauce of any sort is the way to go here. I've had the veal dishes and they ranged from so so to very good. The rigatoni is to... More

I've been going to Parkside for the past 30 plus years. Always a great dinning experience. Tony has the best house Pinot Noir. The excellent consistent flavors have always been for all this time. Great atmosphere. Great staff always within a few steps away eager to assist. This is one of the top Italian restaurant if not the best.

We have been coming here for years and every trip is better than the last. Their house red wine is phenomenal. Also, you have to try their truffle pasta and chocolate cheesecake. Hands down our favorite "special" place to go.

From the decor, to the atmosphere, to the food, this place is perfection. I love eating here and do so on a regular basis. I don't know of any other restaurant that caters to their guests as Tony does. The appetizers, (fresh meats, bruchetta and fresh imported Reggiano), bread assortment and biscotti are included with the meal, Sambvuca is included... More

Great neighborhood restaurant. Delicious food Great service. Great bread basket with many variety of breads. I especially like the stuff bread. The veal chop is fantastic and priced well. Lots of food for your dollar. The bar is a great hang out. Frankie the bartender is great. You will not be disappointed.

My first visit. .. and it lived up to its reputation. Classic Italian "red sauce" place as others have noted. Eggplant rolllatine app was tender and overflowing with taste and ricotta cheese. Entree of veal sorrentino was the best I've ever had ... incredibly tender and with a wonderful brown sauce. Dessert was a unique pistachio tartufu ... pistachio ice... More

We went for dinner this past Saturday with 2 other couples that had not been to Parkside before so we were excited to have them experience what we have been experiencing all these years. It was just our luck that things wouldn't go well on this night. The food as always was very good but the service was really out... More

The only good thing here was the bread basket. We came on a trip to queens to go to the Louis Armstrong House. Reviews were good, which is surprising. The staff was pleasant. The clientele was like something out of goodfellas, aged 30yrs. Ordered a series of salads and sides. Orders got mixed up, things came out late. Food was... More

Have come to Parkside, many times, with both friends and family and we were never disappointed. The drinks at the bar are made perfectly and were reasonably priced. With dinner we like to order the homemade house wine, which we all enjoy. Before dinner they bring a basket of assorted breads, in addition to a complementary dish of Bruschetta, along... More
