We stopped in for drinks here but wished I had eaten dinner here. Cool place, great vibe, awesome drinks. The espresso martini was amazing! A definite stop when in the Corning area.

Really, it was something of a Saturday Night Live restaurant routine: the haughty host, the surly waitperson, the shockingly expensive prices, the long wait, the crummy and overly complicated dishes. Corning has done much to revitalize itself, and this restaurant is in a prime location: the town deserves something better there.

Nothing but good things to report from The Cellar! Food was innovative and well prepared...and delicious! Wide variety of foods for all tastes...especially loved the house "pickles" which were baby veggies lightly cured with perfect balance. Entrees were solid and a favorite of the table was the Chicken n Waffles...hardly cutting edge but darn tasty! Service was attentive and efficient... More

What a great place - innovative, trendy, great service and amazing food. Cool cocktail/wine menu on the ipad. I wish they would open a place in NYC!

Ordered the chicken tostada in spite of its inflated price of $27. The shredded chicken was buried under a mountain of beans and greens. No distinctive flavor, just a blur of mixed spices. Ordered dessert at 8PM and had to wait for more than a reasonable time. It finally arrived 45 minutes later! About a third of the tables had... More

Came here with great expectations. Reviews promised an exceptional dining experience. Very disappointing. Service was friendly but unexceptional. Food looked great but flavors were bland. The old Texas saying in the title says it all. This is a wine bar with food. A little pretentious, quite expensive and just doesn't deliver on product. Will not return.

Creative cocktails and yummy food. Enjoyed the tapas-style menu providing us with an opportunity to try several dishes. Outrageous lamb chops and poutine. The standout was the brussel sprouts with walnuts - sounds simple but they were amazing. Great cocktail menu as well. Friendly staff

There were 11 of us from out of town that needed dinner before heading to the Corning Glass Museum for a symphony concert. The menu was extensive and everyone had their choice done to perfection. This place has tapas plus their dinner entree selections can be had as whole or half orders. My boat scallops were probably some of the... More

We frequent The Cellar at least once a month. This is the only place in the area that offers poutine...probably the best poutine we've had including Canada. The entrees change often but have always been on-point. The drinks are always consistent and delicious. It's a little pricey but it's a unique and welcomed addition to the area.
