Was visiting Corning, NY and found this wonderful little gem of a restaurant. Had dinner there 2 nights. The mixed and Ceasar salads were delicious. The menu has really nice choices. The pork tenderloin, Faroe Island Salmon , the Arctic char special and the Jambalaya...were fabulous. The presentation of the meals are very professional and the service was great. The atmosphere was elegant and a nice place for special occasions. We highly recommend this restaurant.More

We went here for an early dinner after visiting the Corning Museum. It was excellent! Lovely dining room with nice lighting and local paintings, great attentive service and the best food we had on our trip to this area. Hot bread, delicious rack of lamb...and shrimp jambalaya. Salad was good too. All well priced for a white tablecloth dining experience!More

My wife and I recently enjoyed dinner at Three Birds while visiting Corning and the Finger Lakes region over Valentines Day weekend. We had made reservations on Open Table for 7pm on Saturday the day after Valentines [2020]. We arrived 20 minutes early, so we...were seated at bar till our table was made ready, our wait was short, and we enjoyed drinks while seated there. Let me point out that parking on Market on the weekend is at a premium, so we parked behind the restaurant in a pay lot which is free after 5pm and on weekends, and used the rear entrance. We were seated at a very nice table for two at the front window area. Our server was Brandi, a very pleasant and knowledgeable young lady. For an appetizer, we enjoyed Prosciutto Pear Bites, very pleasing. For our main entrees, my wife enjoyed a 8oz Choice Teres Major [ Shoulder Tender] and I enjoyed the Beef Tournedos au Poivre, both delicious and well prepared. For dessert we shared a slice of Red Velvet cake, again delicious. If your visiting Corning and surrounding area, make a point to enjoy Three Birds for a fine meal.More

A good test of any fine restaurant is how they do on a busy evening like Valentine's Day. Three Birds, as always, passed with flying colors. Great service, presentation and taste of food, atmosphere. This is our favorite local restaurant and we'll always be back...for Valentine's day dinner.More

Again TripAdvisor steers me right! Valentines Day with my love and some friends, FULL menu with varied apps (the oysters were succulent!) Entrees were ample, I had the Diver scallops and they left an impression. Service was quick and unobtrusive. Excellent bar and ambitious wine...list. The atmosphere is classic with modern touches, we were very cozy. If you are in Corning this is a must!More

Three Birds advertises itself as American food. We had been traveling in the morning, stayed at the museum through closing, and on this cold night, we were looking for safe food long after our usual 5 p.m. dinner time. The excellent hostess gave us a...window seat even though we did not have reservations. But we found the menu to be limited and ingredients, which were fresh, were just odd for us (older couple) who were expecting something standard and perhaps an option for smaller options. Everyone there seemed to enjoy themselves. Perhaps, we are just small town-ers and not use to city offerings. Prices: again, not small town! Should have kept checking out other places for a safer menu.More

We are here after the Corning Museum of Glass closed. Chose the place from TripAdvisor and were pleasantly surprised. Great cuisine - everything was spot on. Diver scallops, New Zealand rack of lamb & crab stuffed lemon sole were each masterpieces. Absolutely spectacular - must...do dining if you’re in Corning.More

Had dinner here on a Thursday evening. Had reservations and needed them. The place was full shortly after 7:00. Regardless, everything was perfect.....service, food, drinks, atmosphere. We've eaten here before and never had the slightest complaint about anything. As far as we're concerned Three Birds...is the best, and virtually the ONLY upscale restaurant in the area. Unless you like chain restaurants (which we don't) Three Birds is your best bet for a nice dinner.More

Celebrated family birthdays here as a special occasion. Wife always enjoys the lamb while I like almost everything on the menu!
