We were traveling in upstate NY to visit the Corning Glass Museum. Checked out tripadvisor and picked The Three Birds. We also cheked with a local businessman and he recommended it and said it was the BEST in town. Didn't expect to find something so wonderful. Ambiance, service and menu A+. We had the tuna and salmon, very fresh and... More

When visiting the Corning Glass museum, we ventured the relatively short distance to The Three Birds for an early dinner. Parking on the street was not an issue and service was attentive. We enjoyed some NY wine and two nice entrees. I had the scallops which was pricey but well worth it.

Arrived in town late on a Monday night and were welcomed warmly. There was a good wine selection and the menu had lots on offer. Enjoyed the predinner bread, salads were fresh and meals were very good with one exception. The chicken was overcooked and dry in spots. No room for dessert.

Had dinner last night with 2 other people. Server was quite good and professional. Pumpkin ravioli was perfect but not the least bit warm much less hot. Not sure if it was a kitchen issue or if it sat out waiting for the server but he took it off the bill without being asked and we didn't expect it. The... More

We heard about this restaurant while in Watkins Glen. Someone recomended to eat the steaks they have, but we ended up eating pork ( honey-roasted pecan crusted pork tenderloin) and brie en croute. It was excellent, especially the brie. But, what I loved the most was the cream brulee. I love this desert and it was the best I ever... More

There's nothing flighty about this outstanding restaurant on Corning's main commercial street at which we ate last night. The restaurant is divided into a dining side and old-fashioned long bar, separated by a half-wall with acrylic paintings of local nature scenes. The half-wall also absorbs sound - meaning the dining side was quiet and tranquil, while the bar side was... More

We ended up at this restaurant twice! And both times I ordered the same thing. So I can recommend the Oysters (Blue Point) and the Chicken Saltimboca (definitely not spelling that right but work with me). We were all really happy with the quality of the food and the fun and energetic staff. We hung out at the bar for... More

After reading rave reviews on this site; my wife and I decided to give 3 Birds a try for a late evening, light dinner/snack. After standing, unacknowledged, at what we took for a hostess station for nearly 10 minutes (two occupied tables of 2 ad 4 persons respectively occupied in the entire restaurant); we were finally greeted and seated. After... More

This is very disappointing to hear. We pride ourselves on prompt, professional service. Your evening was indicative of a complacent staff due to an unusually slow evening and we apologize. We appreciate your feedback and we will be reinforcing our guest service policies. We look forward to serving you again and painting a true picture of Three Birds cuisine and... More

Salads were very good [caesar. garden] and the pan-seared pork tenderloin was outstanding. Finished with a creme brûlée. Good wine list featuring Finger Lakes wines. Excellent service

Very good service and very good food. The prices for the meal and wine were not a little bit below average. I would definitely go back.
