We were spending the afternoon at the Corning Museum of Glass--we'd been there years ago, but one day is not enough to take it all in, so now we've completed it. In need of lunch first, my wife chose this spot. She has great taste. This is a restaurant where you order at the counter and they give you a number for your table for them to know where to bring your food. The staff was very friendly, and we got our bottled iced tea (Gold Peak--not too sweet, glad to say), and took a seat on the sidewalk on this lovely day. The cuisine here is, as the name suggests, focused on salads, but with a fairly heavy influece from the Mediterranean. My wife had the cyro salad, a very generous mix of greens, lamb gyro, tomato and tzadziki on a pita--not really a gyro sandwich, needed knife and fork to eat. I got "Tour of the Isles", two felafel and two spanakopita and a nice serving of hummus and tzadziki on the side. I found their use of herbs and spices unusual, not in an unpleasant way--the nicely browned felafel tasted of dill, the hummus had some spice I couldn't quite recognize (coriander?). The spanakopita was as I'm used to getting at my local Greek festival. If I was local, I'd be eating here rather often.

Cute, fast spot to grab a quick (& unique) lunch! We ordered the Carnivore & Buddha Bowls & we were happy with both. The lamb on the carnivore bowl was to die for & we were impressed w the variety of flavors. We went with a group of 6 and this is a small joint - so you will need to be ok w separating if going with a larger party. We visited after Corning Museum of Glass & we were glad we did!

Closed on the weekends, we had to wait till Monday to try this place. So glad we did. But be prepared! The food is really fresh. Service is great. Portions are HUGE. We couldn't believe how much food we got for the price. The wrap was stuffed to overflowing. The salad was delivered in a salad bowl---the serving bowl! Eventually made three meals out of one. You couldn't ask for a better place for lunch. But get there before 3:00 when they close.

What a delicious option for lunch. HUGE portions, lots of choices and fresh ingredients hit the spot for lunch after our travel. We only tried the salads but the Greek options looked wonderful too!

This place had got to have the regions best salads. The variety is extensive, the ingredients super fresh and PLENTIFUL! The average salad bowl is so loaded with meats, veggies, olives, etc., that it really can feed two! The prices average at $11-12.99, and considering the quality and quantity are really worh it. I had something called the "Carnivore" - a bed of rice, with cucumber and peppers, gyro lamb meat, chicken, and felafel (pardon spelling!). It was great!

I tried their new special CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE. I guess I was the first person to order it because I was told that they had to figure out how to prepare it. It was pretty good. I thought that the price of $11.00 for a kind of small was a bit high, but that's OK. The good service made up for it. And it was fun to sit on the high stools facing he street.

We had a most satisfying late lunch at Tossed. My gyro salad was generous and delicious. My wife's Buddha bowl & tossed salad were both excellent.(She said the best food she had had in the past 2 weeks of traveling.) Very fresh ingredients.

After a week of travel and eating far more meat than I'm used to, I was hankering for a salad as we made our way home. So glad we found this place! I had the enormous "build your own salad," which had lots of toppings to choose from, and spouse had one of the chicken wraps. Both were filling and fresh. People were nice. It would be great if they added a tap water option, however, so that folks didn't have to buy single-use bottled water.

I had a fabulous falafel wrap with all the yummy things in it and my friend had the Cobb salad which was so fresh and huge and delicious. Friendly staff and freshly made food. Really loved it.

I went for lunch. Though the street and other store fronts didn’t appear so busy, Tossed was happening. I had a lovely falafel bowl with fresh salad, fresh home made falafel and a little pita. While this complication was nicely prepared, my after lunch tea was not hot. Odd to mess up something so straightforward. It’s always been perplexing to me how little towns generally find a way to do steaks well, not many places can do beans well...and they are so much less expensive and a lighter load on the planet. If/when in Corning again, I will be back.

It was a great place to have lunch. Lot of choices for salad, including make your own. They also had Falafel salad. If on Market street, you have to try this place.

The salads are HUGE- we did a build your own salad and it was awesome. The Service was awesome, so inviting and friendly. The restaurant was super clean and close to our hotel. All of the ingredients were super fresh, this is a must eat! We were running the Wineglass Half Marathon so we needed good fuel this weekend, it did not disappoint!

We just arrived in Corning for a few days and noticed this restaurant. Decided to get it a try because of my love for salads with fresh, wholesome ingredients. This place did not disappoint! I tried a specialty Harvest salad that included grilled cinnamon apple slices. Amazing! And as most have said....HUGE! My husband had a packed gyro that was also very tasty. Wish I had this restaurant in Florida! Definitely worth trying if you like healthy options that are locally sourced. Definitely give it a try!
