My wife and I made reservations here for our first night in Cooperstown. Service was fine. Our appetizers were good and the tomatoes were excellent. The sauce for our entrees was very thick especially for the lasagna my wife chose. My Veal Parmigiano was tasty...but again there was too much sauce. Tables are close together and a bit noisy.More

We decided on Nicoletta’s after reading the reviews on TA. We are so glad we did! We arrived shortly after they opened at 4pm and were seated and waited on right away. They asked each group/couple/family who entered if they had reservations and it didn’t...seem to be an issue if they didn’t. We had the Lobster Ravioli and the Filet with Gorgonzola. Soooo good!!! Best steak I’ve had in a while. We had the calamari appetizer and it was good as well. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. They have beer and wine (no liquor) and the recorded the wine we had so we could take it with us. We would highly recommend eating at Nicoletta’s. You will not be disappointed!More

This is a very nice restaurant that offers more than your “cookie-cutter” generic Italian fare which is what most Italian restaurants offer. Adding to this is a very impressive wine list. Food, while not exactly presented in a “Michelin Star” manner is fresh and tasty....I had a nicely prepared Italian sausage (cooked just right!) and “frutti di mare” - the signature seafood pasta dish, also well prepared. Table service was excellent. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant doesn’t serve Cappuccino or espresso - probably the only Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to that doesn’t have this essential piece to finish off dinner.More

Our innkeeper recommended Nicoletta's, and the food was fabulous. My husband had the scampi with caramelized garlic and I had the Veal Saltimboca. It was out-of-this-world, and the prices were great too. We highly recommend.

My friends and I decided to try this place one night while visiting Cooperstown. It's a very nice, quaint, little restaurant. Unfortunately, because they were short of staff we had to wait a while for our food. There were only two people running the whole...restaurant and it was crowded. The good thing is we were seated right away. While seated they brought over a very small bread basket with olive oil for dipping. I skimmed through the menu and decided to order a dish called Ricotta Ravioli. This dish consisted of cheese Ravioli on top of eggplant cutlets and smothered in tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. Interesting concoction. I found this dish very heavy and probably shouldn't have ordered it. The sauce was a very chunky, which I did not like at all. I'm Italian and extremely picky when it comes to good Italian food, and to be honest I wasn't crazy about my meal. My other two friends had spaghetti and meatballs, which they enjoyed. Another friend of mine had chicken marsala. He said it was good, but not fantastic. I guess I was the only one not impressed. I'm not sure if we will be returning to this place, but if we choose to I will be definitely ordering something a lot lighter.More

Great place just wish it stayed open later. The whole town seems to close down early in winter months and young people kind of want to have later dinners. But the food and service were amazing!!

I visited Nicoletta’s for a business dinner and I was impressed with the atmosphere, food, and service. I had the crab bisque and linguine and clams. White sauce of course. Both items were excellent and yes I think I could have slayed vampires after dinner....The garlic was in full effect. The blackened cod fish special also looked excellent. I highly recommend Nicoletta’s for business or a personal dinner. I gave Nicoletta’s four stars because they broke my cardinal rule. They did not have Diet Coke. I had to drink Diet Pepsi. Why!!! Why!!!More

While in town to see if the Baseball HOF, was looking for a nice place to have a good meal after a long drive. The person at the desk of our hotel suggested we go here. Outstanding choice! The food, service and value made this...a truly magnificent experience. Located around the corner from the HOF and 10 minutes from the hotel made it even more of a find.More

Loved our meal at Nicoletta's. The menu prices are very reasonable and the kitchen has a tasty, creative spin on the usual Italian favorites. Food portions were generous. Only drawback was the somewhat rushed and unfriendly waitress. She was the only one working the dining...room and likely had too many tables to cover. Hopefully this was a temporary situation as we come out of the Pandemic and will improve in the future. Still recommend a visit here!More
