Friendly service and great food at an affordable price sums up our evening. We went on a Friday night. Though we made reservations, we arrived about an hour early and they were able to accommodate us since we got there before the dinner rush. We...decided to order lots of different things and have our own personal "buffet". The Mussels in Picatta sauce (lemon, garlic, butter, capers) were to die for. We used the good Italian bread to sop up the extra sauce. We also had two specials, a New England Clam Chowder (wonderful!) and a Pear Gorgonzola salad (yummy). Then we had a Ravioli dish which is made with ravioli and eggplant cutlets. Since my husband doesn't like eggplant, the waitress said she could request that on the side... then we added a side of sausage for him too. The Eggplant was perfect, the sausages tasty, and the sauce good. (more sopping up with extra bread). The ravioli themselves were unremarkable. Then we finished up with two desserts (a chocolate chip filled canoli and a flourless chocolate torte with raspberry sauce--- we definitely would be happy to have both again!). So overall a great meal. Cleanliness fine and they followed proper covid protocols. I do encourage diners to reserve ahead (esp if on busy weekend nights) as we saw a couple of parties turned away due to the busy-ness of Valentine's Day weekend.More

Went on a Friday night after going to the Baseball HOF. Staff was friendly as can be, and the food was fantastic. In all seriousness, it was on par with some of the better restaurants I've eaten at in Italy. Highly recommend the artichoke appetizer...and the veal sorrentino.More

Simply stated, this was one of the best Italian meals I ever had. My wife and I visited Cooperstown the week of October 19, 2020. Our meal started with a shared fried artichoke hearts salad. Perfectly done without a hint of greasiness. I had the...bolognese pasta special and my wife shrimp scampi. Both perfect. I also had a glass of an excellent Montepulciano D'Abruzzo wine. Dessert was a massive "Death by Chocolate." Fortunately, we lived to share the news that it was excellent. Lizzy, our server, was friendly, informed and accommodating. Amazingly, the meal was very reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.More

We were in town for a getaway weekend with plans on taking in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Our 1st night here we decided to give Nicoletta's a try since the reviews seemed to be very positive and we were looking for a nice place...for dinner. Lets just say we were happy with our choice. We arrived a bit after 7 and it wasn't terribly busy so we were seated right away and it didn't take long before our waitress stopped by to take our drink order, she was very pleasant and welcoming. We started off with an order of calamari which was very good and then came our meals, my girlfriend had the lobster ravioli and I had the lasagna. Both entrees were very good and also good sized portions so take out boxes were necessary. We left there full and very satisfied plus the prices are very reasonable for what we got. When we're back in town we'll definitely stop here again. An awesome meal at a good price plus friendly service which couldn't be beat.More

This place doesn't open until 4pm. If you think there might be an issue getting a seat, call and make a reservation. That being said, you won't be disappointed with any dish you choose. From the Lasagna to the Lobster Ravioli, it is the best...you can find for the price. Compared to the other Italian restaurant a few doors down, this one has the best prices. Again, we would drop in here every time we go to Cooperstown.More

We were on a Fall leaf pilgrimage and stopped in Cooperstown to look around and grab dinner. Nicoletta's is right on the main drag, with easy/metered parking out front. It is a small place, and was a bit too dark for my liking. Staff was...nice and wore masks and tables were distanced. We started with the Caprese salad, which was fresh and delicious with a light drizzle of balsamic. The meal came with warm, mildly seasoned bread. My husband got the frutti de mare which came with lots of seafood: scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels. He said everything was very good. I had the baked lasagna. It was chock full of meat in a delicious sauce, but unfortunately was not hot enough and needed a spin in the microwave. The Moscato was very nice, and hubby had a beer. We ended with a shared Tiramisu. We order Tiramisu often and this one was perfect...all we needed was a bigger slice! All in all, a cute place, good service and very good food. I'd say the prices were fair for a touristy area with a very good quality meal.More

We dined at Nicoletta's on a Tuesday evening. It is a lovely looking restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and brought to our table. My husband began his meal with the tomato basil soup and I had the Caprese salad. My husband said his...soup was creamy and flavorful. My Caprese salad was beautifully prepared with just the right amount of balsamic. For his main course, my husband dined on the veal saltimbocca and I selected the fruitti di mare. Both dishes were served with capellini. We savoured every bite! Our server was attentive and polite. It was an absolutely pleasurable dining experience! We love Nicolettas'More
