Good Food, service was ?

Small place right on Main street. Typical pizza place, you order at the front counter and then sit and wait. Guy taking our order was distant, like we were a bother to him. The guy who brought us the food was much better. Food was good and fresh.

Had an everything slice and would have to say it was somewhat tasteless. The peppers and onions were soggy and part of the problem. It made for a wet pizza, where although the dough held up to the moisture, I think it's because there was no cheese on it! Maybe that's why it was only $3. I would almost swear... More

Before we left for Cooperstown our friends we were staying w/in MA said "If you brought back Sal's pizza no one would be mad.". So before we left to head back to MA we picked up two large pies. While we didn't get to try the pizza until hours later we weren't disappointed. The slices were huge, the cheese to... More

Being from NYC, a slice of pizza can be had on almost every street corner. "Sal", or who ever served me, totally lacked any personality. The slice was from a 17" pie ( that's good) but lacked any flavor except salt. The crust felt stale. My suggestion, try the shop further down the block.

We had a large pizza that deserved the title large. The sauce to cheese to crust ratio was excellent and delivery was prompt and polite.

We would go back. This is a pizza place where your not going to get a lot of hand holding and warm fuzzies. We did not know to order first then sit down. However, we asked and were told how the whole process works. The place is old school looking, authentic, no bells and whistles but has ...hands down...some of... More

I wasn't going to write a review, but after the rude service I received I am NOT impressed. Could it hurt to say hello, I felt like I was ignored. Mind you my family was only one there. Pizza was ok. Crust was awful! I will not be returning I even tried to make conversation, the guy looked at me... More

WOW ! I do not expect friendly service anymore, but these guys went above and beyond. We were a complete bother to them. (My wife and I) Could not be bothered to even acknowledge us as he took the order and money. Ordered a sub and of course had to wait a little bit. When it was ready, I had... More

Excellent pizza and other Italian items. For me the crust makes the pizza and Sal's crust is the best anywhere - chewy, flavorful, delicious!

Pizza was delicious!! We went back 2 more times the week we were there. Loved the New York style pepperoni and cheese-could not stop eating. Very busy place due to great pizza at a family friendly price!!
