How can you go wrong with a pizza joint named Sal's. This is a classic NY Pizzeria that displays their product in large glass cases and on the glass case countertop. Their large pizza must be a least 20"-22" inches in diameter. Huge slices of pizza and subs. My wife and I split a large Egg Plant Parmigiana sub that... More

This is a good place for spaghetti. Also had ham and cheese calzone. That was good as well, but a little cool in spots. I should have asked them to heat it a litle more so that was my fault. The good was plentiful and reasonable.

Recommend by the locals as the best piazza in Cooperstown. I talked with the owners. They started in Brooklyn, NY and moved their business to Cooperstown 17 years ago. Their pizza is very good (large slices), but they also serve many Italian dishes. I ate the a slice of pizza, unique flavorful sauce. A small place, but friendly comfortable atmosphere.... More

We looked at the pizzas in their display case and they looked wonderful! We both ordered a slice of Hawaiian pizza. It was delicious! They had a nice beer selection. We enjoyed our lunch and kept looking for a "Sal's" in every town we stopped for lunch!

Right on main street downtown Cooperstown. Two large slices of pizza and a soda... $7.00 bucks. Plenty of room to sit and each. Traditional N.Y. pizza joint.

We took our baseball team there and boy was it terrible. The service was awesome and they had a couple of nice local beers but the food? Don't do it. I had a tomato something soup that was almost inedible. I ordered nachos and they were terribly stale. I asked for new chips and she came back and told me... More

The pizza is great here. The service was terrible due to the rude person running the front. The pizza by the slice had flies all around it and he was mad when we asked to order a whole pizza. Also paid for a drink and he would not refill.

Delicious pizza by the slice, lots of choices. I tried the spinach slice without red sauce, but plain and meat lovers options are available.Great for a quick lunch downtown, something for everyone in our group.

So, you are hungry but not for a large meal. The pizza is sold by slice or whole pie. Excellent think pizza with excellent crust. The lasagna was also worth trying.

After visiting the HOF we wanted to grad some foor before heading back to NYC. some restaurants were closed, so we ended up here. Pizza was just ok, guys behind the counter unfriendly, actually they said nothing at all. We sat outside in the sun at small table, inside it looked horrible. would look for another place to eat if... More
