Great Breakfast at affordable prices. This is where the locals and the regular visitors to Cooperstown will eat. We went at 830am on a weekday, but seated right away. Good eggs, toast, coffee, juice, and French toast, and waffles. All were happy. Oddly, they do not have pancakes on the menu.

We ate here four times and got different things each day. The servers are sweet and lovely, the atmosphere clean and comfortable. The beet salad is a winner with great dressing and home roasted beets!!! They offer a kicerwurst sandwich with onions!!! Are you kidding me , for the old timersthat is great. My mom would have loved it Go... More

We stopped in for a late lunch. It was busy, not a big place but the service was good and the food tasty and fresh. The had a great salad that didn't compromise my diet.

Stopped for lunch after visiting the Hall of Fame. Great food with reasonable prices. I had a burger and fries and you absolutely can't go wrong with it. My son had chicken fingers from kids menu and also really good.

We stumbled across this restaurant for our first breakfast in Cooperstown and we were so happy we did! The service was friendly, attentive and swift. The food arrived hot and was delicious. The coffee was fresh with no bitterness. If we had known about this place earlier we would have come for dinner the night before!! The price was very... More

The service was the best ever for a cafe of this size. The selections were typical burger and fries, but a few specials were the hi lite of the day. A beef melt was superb. The blackened chicken sandwich was also a home run. With alcohol service also available this place is a grand slam.

After spending a few hours at the Baseball Hall of Fame, we ducked into the Doubleday Cafe for a late dinner and to escape an impending rainstorm. We ordered a pitcher of beer (for two) because we thought we'd be there for a while, but the storm blew over with hardly a drop of rain. Oh well. I ordered the... More

We ate here for dinner when it was a little late one evening. It was conveniently located near the Baseball Hall of Fame. We all got burgers and they were yummy. Service was both friendly and efficient. The next day it was raining and while a few other restaurants were full, there was plenty of space at the Doubleday. Service... More

Walked in with no knowledge of the food and we LOVED IT ! It was a great light dinner...enough to satisfy you but not make you uncomfortable. This will be a regular spot.

Very busy café in the heart of Main Street. We got there just ahead of the noon crowd (a thought to keep in mind) as they were lined up out the front door after we had been seated and served. Both my wife and I had cheeseburgers done to perfection (medium rare). With mine I had a generous serving of... More
