We as a family that had houses in Cooperstown growing up LOVE THIS PLACE. Every two years we all come together. From Ohio, Florida, Connecticut and even NOLA. This bar is a must our joke is have you been to this bar named Cooley's because we are teased that we never leave. . We bring new friends and family every... More

This was a great find on a small side street off the main street of Cooperstown. When we entered it seemed like a real local place and we were greeted by a very friendly bartender. Our waitress was very nice and the food was great, we had the pot roast sandwich and the grilled cheese, peppers and bacon both panini... More

Best pub burger and hand cut fries around. Also, their sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had! Great appetizers too. Our waiter was outstanding!

We arrived without reservations with a group of 14 (several families with adults and kids) and were seated immediately. The waitress warned us up front that service would be slow (approx 25-30 minutes) because they were so busy, but we ordered anyway. Drinks arrived soon enough, but the food took well over an hour - even though most tables had... More

Went there with large group of baseball families. Beer was cold, and food served relatively quickly considering we were 20+

Needed a break while working our way through the Baseball Hall of Fame, we stepped outside and down the street. The Visitor's Center recommended Cooley's for its easy going feel and its simple food menu. It was perfect for what we were looking for... a delicious reuben, a philly cheesesteak, cold drinks and the TV to watch some Olympics. Great... More

Wide screen tvs broadcast baseball -- big surprise considering it's a couple blocks from the Hall of Fame -- while a front-room bar and seating area is backed by an open room with more tables and tvs. The chili was good and the beer cold. It's a small bar and front room, but it doesn't feel that way. The service... More

This was my second visit to Cooley's Tavern, I first visited in early spring and had a good meal. It is a local watering hole, which I normally enjoy but this time I was disappointed. I'll start with the good stuff, the food was tasty and our waitress very attentive. But the restaurant felt dirty and there were flies buzzing... More

My experience at Cooley's is both very good and poor. -The reuban sandwich was perfect -The pot roast should not have been served...it was dried out to the point of being too hard to even chew. -The homemade potato chips are very good and I prefer them to french fries

Great staff ! Great vibe . Seems like it's a local bar . They don't seem to like air conditioning but the beers are cold and the atmosphere is great !
