We had dinner here on our first night in Cold Spring. We arrived late into town and it was the only place still open. The food was great and service was impeccable. And the background music was incredible! I highly recommend this place to anyone...visiting Cold Spring.More

I had make a mistake to sitting in a table not set up for me and my friend and the lady, I don’t know if the owner or manager, came at me and said “ get up and go out my restaurant “. I m...shocked!!! I never saw this kind of indelicate person managing a business in my life.More

this was our first visit to Cold Spring and did to have any particular restaurant in mind. We walked down Main Street and Cathryn's looked very inviting. We walked in and were very satisfied with the food.

It was a horrible experience. The hostess was rude. She doesn’t have the people skills for this type of businesses . If you are planning to visit this restaurant I recommend you to go to Cold Spring Depot instead ofCathryn’s. They do have excellent reviews...and the staff is well trained and friendly.More

I was amazed by the food. We had the rabbit pasta as appetizer and 2 delicious specials. One was the cheese dumpling and the other the lamb ragu gnocchi. For a restaurant that is not busy on a Wednesday evening (Cold Spring Winter), I was...amazed by the quality of food and their wine list. If you are looking for an upscale place to go this is it.More

We had Rigatoni and Linguine Nere Al Limone. Both were delicious and satisfied our hungry West Point Cadet. The extra baskets of bread and a lot of water were much appreciated also. Thank you for making our visit enjoyable. We will be back.

We met friends in the town of Cold Spring and had a wonderful meal on a beautiful day while sitting outside in their garden area. Service was great - waiter was helpful and engaging. I started with a great salad and then had fresh clam...sauce over linguine as my dinner. Everything was perfectly cooked and served well. Each of us enjoyed our time there and will definitely return. Great stop 👍More

This restaurant continues to mystify me. It is an attractive place right on the main street of Cold Spring, with the possibility of dining outside in a side garden in warm weather. The food is excellent, the menu is extensive, the service is very good,...the wine and beer lists are extensive, prices are reasonable for what you get, etc. So why is it almost empty? We were there for dinner at 8pm on a Tuesday night and except for us there was only one table of 3 diners and two people dining on their own...perhaps we missed the early dinner crowd. It is busier on the weekends, but it is almost always easy to get a table. I just can't figure it out. It is a great place for a tranquil meal, but it is too good not to be much busier.More

We stopped in here for lunch. Nice unique menu. Friendly staff. Tranquil ambiance. Food was absolutely delicious. I read here that people complained that the portions are too small. Keep in mind in Italy portions are this size. Americans are too used to giant portions....The potions were perfect here especially for lunch.More

Food was very good but the portion was ridiculously too small. So many times you go out to eat and you’re bringing home a doggie bag that can feed you 2 more meals. I dont necessarily like this but the portion here was way too...small! I had the Broken Scallops with Farro over Arugula with a lemon and EVOO vinegrette. Very good - scallops were cooked perfectly but I don’t think there were any more than 2 scallops. Maybe a 1/4 cup of Farro and the rest was arugula. All this for $18. Unfortunately not going back any time soon.More
