A good place for quick and tasty, inexpensive take-out meals. The wonton soup to go is great for a light supper.

Do not go, do not waste your money. Don’t even know how they stay in business. The food is terrible with no effort put into it and it tastes bad.
The food, service was average. I am not saying bad, not saying very good. We both ordered entrees and soup. One got the soup ahead of the entree, the other got it with the meal. Everything was average ... not trying to be redundant but...it was a quick easy meal that served the purpose. Seating is very limited.More
Yep, average. Meaning like every cheap Chinese restaurant in the world. Go cheap on the decor, ingredients so you can sell people cheap food for people who care about price over quality. They are lovely people who are stuck in the Chinese Food Rut. I...would hope people in Cold Spring would pay a couple of bucks more to get just a little higher quality food.More
There is no possible way that this restaurant is surviving on food sales. This may be the worst Chinese food I have EVER had. I can only assume they own the building and don't have to pay rent. I will NEVER eat here again. What...a waste of an experience.More
This is not fine dining, this is Chinese Takeout. As such it is well done, predictable and a good cheap meal in a pinch
Good food, great selection, and excellent price! Everything was fresh and delicious. There are a few tables to eat in, but we took ours and sat by the river. Very nice! Servings are large, so order less and share.
Many hikers and visitors come to Cold Spring for the day, and want to eat before heading home. Cold Spring has many very good restaurants, but for those on a budget, Ming Moon is Cold Spring's single Chinese restaurant. It has a very long full...menu, including a lot of non-fried and vegetarian options. We avoided this restaurant for years because on the last visit the workers started a fight with each other, but friends convinced us that we were missing out on some good food. So last week had the Mu Shu vegetables and it was excellent- full of many different vegetables (sometimes all you get is cabbage and mushrooms.) The single order was enough for two people with leftovers.-at about $8.00. The ambiance is fairly dreadful, and we noted that while the person at the counter pretended to speak English, he really did not. But the food came quickly. In good weather ask for plates, and take your food down to the waterfront for one of the best dining views anywhere.More
