Back for the first time post COVID. Always loved the history and beautiful interior. Happy to enjoy an excellent meal, appreciate the skilled preparation and friendly and helpful service. Great craft beer selection, and wonderful desserts. We’ll be back again soon!

Come here year after year to eat during hunting season. My meal was the prime rib roast very tasty and tender. My cousin had the steak which he saw was delicious. Unfortunately my other cousin had the fish and chips which he said was uneatab,...fish was hard. They took the meal off the bill. Chris the owner is reduring the entrance to the pub located downstairs. He is a craftsman. We will come againMore

Have not eaten here before. With the shut down I thought I would try their take out for a special occasion. The worst meal ever!! Mushy stuffed filet, burnt & overcooked fried seafood platter, stale brownie sundae for dessert! For this they charged $70 &...expected a gratuity! Never again!!!!!More

We ate lunch in this restaurant. Menu has plenty of variety to please most diners. Food was delivered hot ... and you could tell that it was made with fresh ingredients by folks who care about the food they prepare. Our server was awesome, super...friendly and very accommodating. This is a historical restaurant/inn and has been restored with care.More

This was our third visit to the “Tavern”, which is downstairs from the main restaurant. We like be the cozy atmosphere. The food is the same menu wether you are upstairs or down below. They have music on the weekends, which is really a nice...touch. All the food we have had has been good, tasty and reasonably priced. I love the nacho appetizer and the hubby the French onion soup. Wednesday is burger night and they were cooked just right and tasted great. This is a repeat place, try it you will not be disappointedMore

We stopped in for lunch after a morning of exploring local sites. We ordered nachos to start but were told that they weren't available. We switched to cheese quesadilla. It had onions on it as well. I love onions but the onion pieces were large...so it made it difficult to eat. The onion slipped out of the hot cheese. The table got a kid's menu chicken tenders, crab cake blt and a steak sandwich which was declared delicious. Portions are huge. Fries are crispy and seasoned. Sandwiches can also come with onion rings or side salad for an upcharge. Service was good. The husband never got his Splenda for his tea but drank it without and didn't complain. The kid's meal comes with ice cream and it was happily packed up to go for a full little boy.More

The atmosphere was relaxing and the host was very nice. He offered us a quiet table for our drinks and enjoyed it so much we ordered dinner. My salad was excellent and my husband's dinner was delicious. It was more than we could finish so...we each left with a doggie bad.More
