We ate breakfast & lunch numerous times this past June & July while summering in Clayton. Our favorite breakfast entrees include the corned beef hash with sunnyside up eggs, breakfast burritos with sausage & bacon, the daily special French toasts and their breakfast sandwich. For...lunch the roasted red pepper soup is always a must! We also love the Southwest cobb salad, Boathouse beet salad, cranberry turkey panini, the ABC panini Bella's classic burger & the chicken pesto panini. I think my son has tried everything on the menu, his all time favorite is the lobster roll. If I am lucky I get a small bite every other time! We started an annual tradition that we have to have lunch at Bella's before we fly home after our summer in Clayton. The staff and owners are attentive & so very nice. We look forward to next year!More

We had heard good things about Bella's in Clayton, NY so on a recent trip to the Thousand Islands our party of four had lunch there on a beautiful September day. Sat outside by the water, watched the boats and freighters go by and had...a delightful lunch. From Thai Bowl with salmon to lobster bisque to caprese sandwich to excellent desserts the entire experience was wonderful. Very pleasant wait staff and good service in spite of being a very busy place. Do not miss a meal at Bella's when you are in Clayton. Excellent all around.More

No tea for breakfast and very expensive. We didn't even stay. Unfortunate and staff weren't bothered that our business went elsewhere.

We had a delicious breakfast at Bella's. The Banana Bread French Toast was my favorite breakfast (out of four) during our stay in Clayton. The banana bread was served with fresh banana slices and candied walnuts. It was like having dessert for breakfast! Dining outside...on the covered deck with a view was a bonus until halfway through our meal we were bombarded by some very aggressive bees. We had to move because they were so annoying, and they followed us. Yet, we didn't let that spoil our delicious breakfast. Dining at Bella's is all about quality.More

We asked to be served quickly and the chef and staff came through. Our sandwich was good and the beer was reasonably priced.

Wait was long but food, service and view was very good. They run out of a meal that my hubby wanted to have but he changed it and was pretty happy.

Bella's is our go to Breakfast / Lunch spot in Clayton. The quality of food and drink is always top notch and the service is friendly and engaging. Plus the views are spectacular. Love Bella's

Our family visited Bella’s as it is consistently exceptional in so many ways. We were served by Quinn who promptly obtained drink orders and our food orders. We were subsequently offered another seat closer to the river with less sun which was phenomenal, and added...to our overall experience. My wife had the grilled cheese with cheddar-cheese bread and was in heaven, while my daughter had the regular grilled cheese with no complaints. While my son was pleased with the taste of the chicken panini with tomato he found it difficult to eat as it was a full uncut thigh. My wife’s cousin and I both had the Shrimp Bowls, which were full of the five promised large grilled shrimp, beans, cilantro, rice, and guacamole, only possibly to be improved by having the shrimp battered and fried (not an option—yet). Also the lobster bisque was great. Again, a big thank you to Quinn for exceptional service and Bella’s for great food with family!More

Before the pandemic we frequented Bella’s was one of our favorite places to eat while in Clayton…but never again after my experience on Monday, July 4th. I ordered the ABC Panini and the Boathouse beet salad to go, after I placed the order I was...told it would be 20-25 minutes, 45 minutes later my order was ready. When I got down to the pavilion I discovered that I didn’t get the beet salad but a garden salad…now at this point I’m frustrated, I head back down to Bella’s to return the garden salad and get a refund. The manager took my slip and said he would take care of it. Now, I wait another 5 minutes for him to refund my cc the garden salad…at this point it is 66 minutes from when the original order was placed. He then tells me, “that this is what happens when people sneak through the back door”, I walked through the main door and placed my order. When I told him I was frustrated because it had now been over an hour and I still had not eaten the sandwich he said, “I’m frustrated too.” Nice customer service buddy. The size of the garden salad was very small for $7.00, the ABC sandwich was good.More

We were walking around in Clayton and decided to try Bella’s. Smart choice. They have a great view of the river. Our sever was friendly. Our food was great. We of course had 1000 island dressing on our salads. We sat outside on the deck....It was a great meal.More

We ate twice there: First time for lunch (hamburger, lobster/devil eggs, tuna salad; second time for breakfast: blueberry pancakes (one of the best we had) , burritos, spinach/feta quiche. All very good. The service was at times not attentive. We bought cakes, bread at their...bakery which were very good.More
