The location of this chateau can't be beat! The view is gorgeous, especially at sundown. Aim to sit at the bar or outside (if it' not cold). The food is great and the drinks, in our case, were amazing.
We dined at the Chateau on a Monday which is a Mexican themed menu. The menu includes many familiar Mexican items (tacos, burritos, etc) but prepared and presented wonderfully. The service staff is exceptional at insuring that your meal is a great experience. We will definitely...return.More
We enjoyed breakfast here - seated at bar overlooking the river. Mimosa's - lobster benedict, Belgium waffle, pulled pork & hash all good - nice presentation. Bartender allowed us to sample their spirits - didn't disappoint. Would return.
we stopped for lunch and wish we could have ate here more. We had a "flight" of the spirits which was a great introduction to their offerings. Our server Elizabeth was wonderful - knowledgeable, professional, kind, fun, efficient. She was a pleasant part of our...meal. Our food was great. I very much recommend the reuben. SO great. If you go - make sure to save room for carrot cake. It's small - it's expensive but it is worth every cent and every calorie. Best i've tasted
The setting was lovely - on the water - great views. The structure felt like eating in a castle - it was so nice. All of the staff were welcoming and pleasant. I wish we could have gone back but they were closed the days we could have gone. Best place in the 1000 IslandsMore
One of the best meals we have ever had! Creatively designed and integrated to provide for an appealing visual and to evoke a lot of Wows about the food. For example one of the appetizers was a Goat Cheese and Arugula Salad: - Pecans fried...goat cheese and warm andouille vinaigrette on wilted Spinach - yum!
We their Spring mix salad with Maple Dijon and balsamic vinegar
Honey butter rolls - were beyond excellent
I hesitantly ordered Cocoa Duck ($36.00), after all, who has ever heard of that kind of combination. Well I can tell you it was just delightful, fresh and unique!
The Chicken Chasseur Pappardelle ($27.00) delicious, leading to a take-home portion.
Their wine list was good and an avg wine would be in the range of $13.00-$15.00.
Our server Jess provided timely entrees but also was able to touch upon some of the history of the area.
A warning to night diners. After dark the parking lot becomes treacherous as it is not lit up at all. Take a flashlight - you might save yourself a broken ankle.
Overall a delightful place that provides 1st class dining at a premium price but worth the experience.More
Live nearby, staying safe, lucky to be able to do take-out, wage beef was to die for! Beef was awesome as were the squash and the potato presented very well. We are so fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber in the islands!
We loved dinner here. The chef made a special vegetarian plate with butternut squash and eggplant that was delicious. We also had 2 appetizers (pecan goat cheese and scallops with arugula) and they were both amazing. The service and the views were great. We’ll be...back.More
Prepare to be wowed on all fronts! We went for dinner on Saturday, September 12th.
The view, the cocktails, the food and the service. I wish I had taken pictures to share. Cocktails and food were absolutely yum. Presentation was beautiful. Our server was friendly,...attentive but not over the top. We had the oysters, salads, walleye and meatball (that's not what they're called) entrees and Tiramisu dessert. Everything was spectacular. Can't wait to go back for brunch.More
We've has dinner there many times this summer and never disappointed. Local ingredients served in unique and provocative ways. Great service. Fun and extra care on safety. Can't say enough. Well worth it.
