Went there today while visiting Catskill mountain.. They had few russian dishes in the menu. We tried chicken Pelmeni and it was pretty good! Our hostess was extremely sweet and took time to explain dishes on the menu. There was a fireplace inside and it was quite cosy! Would definitely recommend it if anyone is around the area.

We were staying at Anita's Casita and ordered take out from Blue Hill Cafe twice, breakfast and dinner. Food was delicious, portions large and good variety of choices. A great choice!

The 7 of us stopped in here for lunch as recommended by the Frost Valley YMCA campgrounds. Very good choice indeed. Plenty on the menu to choose from and some unique specialties like "three cheese beer soup" and French Onion. We had gone a tour of the Julian Forstmann mansion at Frost Valley and were impressed with this hide away... More

After a weekend at Frost Valley with a group of friends we stopped at this great place in Claryville. Lucky us "mamma" was in from Russia and cooked us some fantastic meatballs. We also had some perogies and lots of beer! This place is also good for a quick stop for deli sandwiches or snacks. Very friendly but service is... More

we have a country home in the area and always have tried to support the local business. the breakfast sandwiches are always good and not a bad value. where the place falls short is lunch and dinner. Over the past few years the sandwiches have gotten thinner and thinner, I always bought my lunches here instead of cold cuts at... More

My husband and I were there this Saturday. Apparently there was a grand opening of something and the place was crowded. Service was slow. It took 35 minutes to get our food. The coffee was tepid the hamburger cold. Nothing on the menu for a vegan/organic eater, asked them to put some salmon on a salad and they charged thirteen... More

I can't review the facility itself because I never got a chance to stay at it. I booked a room at this place (for just under $200) through hotels.com because it was listed as being just 17 mi from Phoenicia, NY (where I was attending a wedding, but couldn't find lodging for the night). We were going to be arriving... More

This isolated gem has everything you need...a restaurant, a general store and a place to stay. It soon will have an art gallery and a micro brewery! The owners are great and the food is homemade and outstanding. You couldn't ask for a more accommodating place to enjoy lunch with fresh made sandwiches or homemade dinner. It's very close to... My family has visited this restaurant on many occasions. The owner is super-friendly and accommodating. The food is always good. The dining room is comfortable and it is a family-friendly environment. We visit as often as possible and recommend

We remembered fondly the lunch we had here in July 2012 before dropping our child off at Frost Valley Camp. This year? No freshly baked breads, no fantastic sandwiches, no attentive service, no silverware! My salad was limp, limited and served in a plastic dish. The fried chicken was all bone. The sandwiches seemed pre- made and were disappointing. And the... More
