Feeling as though you have stepped back in time;this country inn offers a niece selection of entrees. All meals include soup, salad, and homemade rolls with specialty butters. Tempting homemade desserts and pleasant service, all made a chilly evening warm and cozy. They also offer a Diner and Lancaster Theater Pkg from $49-$59 and B&B/ Dinner pkg as well. If you enjoy... The food is freshly prepared and choices change by the season. Wonderful ambiance and they have their own herb garden. You can sit on the porch to eat or just walk the grounds after eating. It is also a Bed & Breakfast with each room unique!

A wonderful place for a special meal. The inn is beautiful. The menu is varied and each meal feels as if it is lovingly prepared. I love that the menu changes for the seasons, and herbs from their herb garden are utilized in the dishes. Delightful and attentive service is the norm.

Asa Ransom takes you back in time with their decor. The grounds are gorgeous and very peaceful as you walk up to the front door. The rooms are Victorian, very clean and tidy. The restaurant is wonderful! We highly recommend The Asa Ransom house

Lovely experience - unlimited pots of tea - delicious assortments of finger sandwiches , sones, cookies. Excellent value. Great way for friends to get together for something different. Acoustics not so good hard to hear each other when others are nearby. Lovely presentation

I scheduled a gift for Mother's day for my wife. Everything was very good and we had plenty of time to arrive at the playhouse. We both believe the food was prepared as we liked we are local and will be returning soon.

I have been to Asa Ransom House in Clarence several times and have always had a good experience. The last two times my husband and I enjoyed the dinner theater package. This package includes theater tickets to the Lancaster Opera House and a 4 course meal for $54 per person.

Our first visit was during restaurant week. For $30.15 pp we received vegetable soup, a salad, rolls, entre, a glass of wine and dessert. I had the apple cheddar chicken and my wife had the Jeffersonian beef. My dessert was the NY cheesecake and her dessert was the chocolate torte. Their biscuits and butters are homemade.

My husband booked us a room for 2 nights here. A little birthday/kid free getaway. So nice! Relaxing! So many great things about this place. The staff here are so pleasant and attentive. Our room was quaint. We stayed in Abigail's Room. The view from the window was peaceful. We even had coffee out there on the porch off of... More
