Restaurant is called Stones now. New owners let all the previous staff go. It is slow, unorganized and not nearly as good as before.

I’ve always loved Borio’s, but I found out today it is NOT Borio’s anymore. We had the calamari for an app and it tasted like rubber (over cooked). My daughter had the chilled grilled chicken salad - how do you mess up a salad? The...chicken looked and tasted like canned chicken and then she bit down on a bone! When we told the waitress she got very defensive and rude. My daughters noticed our bill came on a small plate (everyone else came on a rectangular check holder) and we never got mints! As we were leaving my daughters pointed out that everyone else had mints with their bill. I’m very disappointed because I’ve been going there for decades and even had a wedding reception there 17 years ago. I’m sorry to say I will not be going back any time soon.More
Great stop on Oneida Lake! Indoor & Outdoor seating available. The outside bar feels like your on vacation!! Live music, good drinks and good food. I’d suggest a reservation for dinner…..
Excellent all around. Our server was Grace and could not have been more accomodating/attentive. Started with 4 appetizers, French onion soup, spicy shrimp ( think Bang Bang) and onion rings, and meatballs. Followed by a burger, salad, chicken fingers, fries, garlic mashed potatoes. Coconut shrimp...and broiled scallops. No complaints about anything. 5 stars, will return.More
The place seem to be going down hill and this was the last straw. I ordered the broiled haddock which used to be a full length on a plate now it was 3 tiny dried out pieces, my wife ordered the shrimp dinner and that...was very dry also. It’s sad the dinners used to be much better.More
Went here with some friends and we all had excellent meals with great service ! Seafood was nice and fresh. We will be back again for sure !
We were looking for a restaurant with outside seating, and this place did not disappoint! The view from the covered patio was stunning. We saw boats, and birds, and sunshine. It was a magnificent afternoon and just what we needed after the summer of Covid....The food was great, and the drinks were perfect, served by super friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend Borios, and cant wait to return.More
During Covid-19 patrons and staff walkabout and yelled over our table to others with out masks. If you are concerned about COVID-19 this is not the place to go. If you want fresh food this not the place to go. Pre-poured wine at the bar...so that wait staff don't have to wait for the wine to be poured. Busboy put filthy dirty dish pail on our table to remove plates before we were finished eating. Barmaid refuses to wear mask during this mandatory mask time.More
Many empty tables but made people wait 20-30 minutes rather than open a nice outdoor section. Good food and great view
My husband and I were out wandering today and somehow ended up at Borios. How happy we were to see we could actually sit outside and eat! We were a bit nervous, as this whole out of the house thing is new right now. But...everyone was great! Their tables placed apart, their servers wearing masks yet you could tell they were smiling. The food awesome, the view divine. Our server Felicia was awesome, constantly keeping an eye on all her tables but not making us feel rushed or hurried. Our burgers perfectly cooked, the fries hot and crispy, my bloody mary perfectly spiced. Thank you for making our first official outing wonderful, as usual.More
Borio's has the best haddock in town, you can get it baked, broiled or fried. The waitresses are fabulous, Alyssa, Dee & Erin are great as well as all other employees. Try it, you will not be sorry you did
A quote by the late great Yogi Berra. Well bust is always a very good sign. Thought we might have to wait to be seated but this place is big. Great seafood menu and lots of activity at the buffet. My clam strips were perfect...as was the fruit cup. Not a fan of the coleslaw as it had very little taste. Fantastic view of the lake. Service was super. Wish we lived closer. Four thumbs up.More
Family dinner & drinks. My daughter's been to Borio's a coupe of times when visiting the in laws. When you walk thru from the car park entrance into the restaurant you don't know what you going to get until you walk thru the restaurant door...and sit outside the deck/terrace and see the most beautiful setting over the lake and watching the sun set whilst having dinner, the service & the food was great and a duo playing music was amazing. We will be back next time we are in Syracuse as its a long way from Melbourne Australia.More
Our family had dinner here when we stayed in the area while visiting colleges. We sat outside and had great food and friendly service. After dinner we walked down the to lake to see the amazing sunset. All around a great evening - will be...back next time we are in town!More
The high light was the salad bar. Drinks were decent too. The fish was average but service was horrible. First 10 percent tip I left on 20 years and wanted to do .05. There was no attentiveness at all.
