This restaurant has a wonderful menu - from sandwiches to salads to excellent fish frys on Friday nights. The Staff is always friendly. Most of 'sides' are made by hand. Lois, the owner, will come to your table to see if everything is alright. Wonderful country place to dine in our area.

We were in the Rochester area visiting Niagara Falls and stopped in on the way back to the hotel. Very nice place and the waitress (who I think was the owner) was super friendly. My wife and I had the prime rib special which was very good and cooked to order. Excellent service and would definitely stop again if ever... More

Restaurant is small and is casual. A lot of locals and regulars come here. Friday night Fish fry's are the best!

Stone's is an quaint, little place where you can go have a relaxing drink with a friend or loved one. It is family owned and run. If you want something to eat, they have the best open prime rib sandwich ever. The fish fry on Fridays is yummy with the family style macaroni salad and coleslaw. Everyone there is friendly... More

My husband and I love Stone's countryside! They are always friendly and have great home-made food. Their fish fry is one of our favorite things to get there. It's great to have such a wonderful place to go so close to home that you can get a great meal everytime and visit with your friends and neighbors! I met my... More

Very nice family place. Food was great and well made. Seems like a place where all the locals go and have a great meal. We loved it there. Plan on going back many times during the year.

I've actually lost track of how many times I have been back to Stone's Countryside Tavern. It seems that whenever I want good food, good service and a quiet dining room I invariably think of Stones. My goal would be to try everything they have on their menu. This trip I tried the Chicken and Biscuits. The waitress told us... More

I went tonight with 2 of my friends tonight. We all had the prime rib and it was pretty good. I will go and the service was solid. The staff kept checking on us and the food solid for the price. I will stop here again next time I am in town.

This has been our favorite go to restaurant for years and continues to be the one we choose when we don't feel like cooking, getting too dressed up or just not wanting to mess up the kitchen. Prices are good, food is home cooking and the wait is never long, even on Friday fish fry nights. The bar is separate... More

Great food, great staff and quick service. Even on busy Friday nights, the service is quick and the quality of food does not waive. Stones is a family owned, local restaurant and has a wide variety of food. Their fish fry's are the best in all of Rochester!
