Very nice restaurant, nice decor, clean, good wait staff and very good food. For starters I recommend the Tower For Two, nice assortment of tasty treats. Only down side I found is a poor selection of beers, very limited, not usual top brands. Dinners are moderately price and I would recommend this place without a doubt to anyone.

We stopped in for lunch on our way home from a visit to the north fork. They offer a lovely prix fixe menu for lunch that we did not choose cause neither of us really wanted dessert. Instead we ordered straight from the menu. My husband ordered a chicken Caesar wrap which came with steak house fries. I requested a... More

Stuffy, dank dining room. Outdoor patio has vinyl tablecloths. Not fine dining. Food is heavy handed and of mediocre quality. Service is efficient, but unfriendly. I won't return, and cannot recommend this place to a discriminating diner.

Jonathan Here (owner) , I'm sorry that you found nothing positive with your experience here. I do have to comment though on some of your remarks, the entire restaurant has linen table cloths , only outside do we use the vinyl obviously because it's outside, you did have the option of dining inside. Our menus are so diverse from heavy... More

First time at the Cooperage inn. Four friends out for wineries and Ladies night menu special with 15 dollar wine bottle special. My food was fabulous. Had the steak cooked just as i ordered, the apps were all good. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was full...i will give them that. The dinner bill including apps and... More

I have been there 3 times so far. The 1st was a surprise birthday party. The food, service and the price was great. 2nd time, was a high school reunion. They went out of their way to make sure everything was great. Last week, we returned with another couple. We celebrated our 44th anniversary and the other couple, both of... More

Love the Cooperage. Dinner is my thing. Décor is pretty and overall food is excellent. Attentive wait staff but it can be a little rushed on weekends.

The food was amazing; lots of choices and everything we had tasted great. The service is always wonderful...this is our annual valentine's day place now. Also great for Sunday brunch.

We had received a gift card for a Christmas Gift. Our previous visit was for Sunday Brunch. We were not that impressed by their brunch. We had some $$ remaining on the card and paid them a visit on the 4 th of July weekend. We were both pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent. My lobster clam bake was so delicious.... More

We ate here with extended family last weekend. The food is amazing and the service is phenomenal. The portions are HUGE. I would recommend a small plate (if ordering pasta), even that is more than enough. We will certainly be returning frequently.

Description
The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs.

The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.
