We’ve come to expect some museums and gardens have tolerable places to eat nowadays. Our experience at the Hudson Garden Grill was a step above. The setting is light-filled and comfortable. The service was extremely good. And the food most enjoyable. Our friends contended themselves...More

My husband and I booked our reservations online before leaving on a group tour of the Botanical Gardens. Service was good. He ordered a Hudson Valley Burger ($20) advertised as their short rib blend with apple wood smoked bacon, Hudson Valley Cheddar, special sauce, lettuce,...More

It nice to relax at a high scale, relaxing, restaurant after walking around the Garden seeing the exhibits. It was a wonderful Spring day and we were able to eat outside to celebrate Mother's Day. After a nice glass of wine we shared a special...More

Had the pork to begin, needed to be more of it and it was tough & overcooked. The burger for main was delicious, cooked exactly as i'd asked so 10/10 for that - fries however were luke warm at best! Nice non-alcoholic options to drink...More

I would call the experience (our second time) a splurge of convenience. The food is wonderful, high quality and nicely presented. The crab cake was a menu-special for a short time; it was tops. The dining room ambiance is very pleasant and welcoming. Being on...More

I had a very late lunch here a few weeks ago with my sister. Its the first restaurant i have ventured to at Hudson Yards. I think the main reason I came was because I love Chef Michael Lomonaco's cooking. The food did not disappoint....More

A great museum restaurant in all dimensions. Try the veggie burger and any other vegetarian dish. Even meat eaters will be pleased!

Our group of seven enjoyed lunch here after the train show. The restaurant is attractively decorated and, with its high ceilings that "absorb" sound, the room permits conversation even with every table occupied as they were during our visit. The menu is sensible, not especially...More

Service was excellent and the food was delicious! Menu indicates which items are gluten free and vegetarian friendly. Server also asks if anyone has any allergies prior to taking your order. Would suggest making a reservation.

Hudson Garden Grill is as good as one will get inside the Botanical Garden. You can eat in a heated tent or inside. It gets crowded and reservations are spaced out to help the kitchen. We kept it simple, steak frites, mussels, clam chowder. Don’t...More

Hi- Looks like Thursdays they serve lunch 11:30-3pm and bar service with snacks until 6pm. But check with the restaurant because they may be open later during the final days of the Chihuly exhibit. - David

I did not make reservations, but I am guessing they do because I saw a large group there when we were there.
