We met with a group of six. We wanted a place that we could sit and chat without being rushed. We did just that, for 2 1/2 hours. The restaurant was somewhat busy but they never really needed our table. The bread was to die for! That was about it. All entrees were bland. Nothing special at all. Desserts were... More

As an Italian myself I rarely like anything but home cooking. Ann and Tony's has changed that. The food is amazing. The service perfect. The decor wonderful. There's a reason it's been an Arthur Ave mainstay for 90 years.

it is a federal crime to charge a federally regulated credit card for an unauthorized charge. It is also a state crime, known as theft, or fraud by deception, as well as forgery of an altered document, which can be swiftly dealt with by the local police. this was my experience at Ann and Tony's when my bill was $71.85... We stopped at Ann and Tony's on our our way home from visiting my uncle at Columbia Presbyterian hospital. We had a late lunch, early dinner. The food was delicious. I had the manicotti which was very fresh and the sauce was to die for. Our waiter, Ralph couldn't have been more helpful and a good sense of humor "to... More

A great place for comfort food. The atmosphere is family friendly and very relaxed. The wait staff are the best and I find the food to be consistently very good and the portions are generous. The shrimp dishes are amazing as is the eggplant. They sell their own bottled sauce and we got two bottles and were not disappointed!

I really wanted to like this place more. It is attractive inside. The server was a warm and kind of a friendly gruff Italian guy. The menu had a lot of interesting dishes at reasonable prices. But it did not make the cut. The dish I had, a chicken dish with artichoke hearts and bacon was bland. It came with... More

The best bread I've ever had in my life (I think), wonderful true olive oil, great balsamic vinegar to dip it in as well, no wonder they are five generations and still going. We tried two different entrees - Lasagna and the Ann and Tony's Chicken dish - the lasagna was fantastic, the chicken dish was good with the artichokes,... More

My family and I go to Arthur Avenue regularly. Being Italian, I enjoy shopping and eating there. We have an agreement that we will eat at a different restaurant every time we go so, during our last visit, we decided to try Ann and Tony's Restaurant. What a big mistake!! By far, it was the worst meal we have ever... More

This restaurant established in 1927 presently owned & operated by the 5th generation of the Napolitano family, Anthony who is the head chef features average classic Italian fare in a neat & attractive setting. Limited full bar tended by a friendly, attentive, knowledgable young man who also waits on tables. Reasonable prices but better food available elsewhere on Arthur Ave.

This authentic Italian restaurant on Arthur Ave is the real thing. From the decor (plain italian, 1980's), to the surpurb food, this is one of the best (of many) terrific restaurants on the block. Make a reservation if you go on the weekends, or you'll wait.
