Cheese hanging from the ceiling and the unmistakable smell of an Italian Deli. Great cheeses offered for you to sample, and if you do you will buy. Bought some delicious fresh made Mozzarella, and a piece of cheese with truffles.

The Best Italian Meats and Cheeses

For an ex-NYer it felt like coming home. I stopped in with my brother's family because they knew I was missing authentic Italian meats and cheeses. We were there during the holidays and they were busy, but the staff was outstanding. I told them how we suffer from a dearth of quality Italian where I live and they were sympathetic. We got salami and prosciutto and capicolla and four kinds of cheeses and roasted peppers and the best sun-dried tomatoes I've ever had. We spent at least 30 minutes inside browsing and inquiring and sampling. The staff was full of cheer and were so happy to help me out and they enjoyed giving my niece little samples of goodies and watching her reaction. I can't wait to go back in.

Love to go to this deli. Absolutely the best. Been bringing catering to my customers for over 10 years. I get rave reviews and it makes me look good. The best mozzarella in New York. Anthony and his mom Marie are the real deal. Super nice people. Many great employees as well.

This is not a restaurant but a real Deli to buy Italian cheese, salami, prosciutto, pasta, olives, olive oil and, especially, mozzarella and burrata. They are delicious: fresh and tasty. They are like a cream of Haven...

If you've ever been to the Belmont section of the Bronx you know there are many really good deli's,bakeries and restaurants to choose from. I have tried everyone more then once and the place I always put at the top is Joe's Italian Deli. From the imported cheese to the over stuffed sandwiches to the daily hot Items everything is top notch.Joe,his wife and two sons make you feel like family.Do yourself a favor and try Joe's....you'll be very happy you did.

The sandwiches are amazing and the hot food section is incredible. The sausage, cheese and antipasta are all first rate, you can get Italian specialties and pasta here as well.

Great meats & cheeses. Friendly, helpful staff. They will offer you samples before you buy to make sure you like what you are getting. The dried hot pepper mozzarella was especially delicious!
