I called the Pine Bar in Morris Park for a delivery order. Apparently that place is closed and the phones are forwarded here. It was confusing to order because the gentleman on the phone said the Pine Bar menu wasn’t available. So I had to...order without seeing a menu. We ended up ordering burgers and fries, one of us did not like the taste of the burger at all. Would not order again.More

This classy, welcoming Italian restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is classy and upscale without being off-putting. The service is prompt and friendly; our waiter answered questions and didn't rush us to make a meal choice. The pastas were fresh and came with a delicious...variety of vegetables. We really liked the melanzane pizzetta, the Mediterranea pizzetta, and the tomato bruschetta.More

As a nurse that is fighting in front line due to COVID, best way to get appreciated is by good food! Thank you F&J Pine for the free food you gave me. Location: It is located in Bronxdale Ave. Few blocks from my house. I...have been here twice and it is good for family gatherings. The interior is nice, there is a huge brick oven where they baked their pizza. A cozy place to eat! Service: The guys were fantastic! Af course they have to be away from us too. I ordered and they told me to wait outside. I completely understand it, it is for our safety. Food: I ordered the BAKED ZITI with MEATBALLS: the pasta is cooked al dente! The sauce and meatballs taste good! This is the pasta dish that you can eat everyday! Including are sides of POTATO CROQUETTES which I love, bread and house salad. Thank you so much for giving me free food! I do appreciate it. I am definitely going here when this pandemic is gone.More

As a “BRONX Girl” we always go to F&J’s for lunch or dinner. Lots of good food & service. Can’t recommend anything because everything is delicious! Pizza is also great. Enjoy😊

We were looking for authentic Italian food while visiting The Bronx - we found it!!! Very welcoming environment, beautiful brick interior with NY Yankee themed decor. Meals start with bread and salad family style. The Linguine and Clams, Chicken Parmesan, and the Lobster Ravioli were...all delicious! House made Tiramisu was to-die-for!!!! Highly recommendMore

My family and I have been going to Pine Tavern for over 30 years. Although it started out as a small bar restaurant and the wait was over 30-minutes to one hour, it was well worth it. Today, the restaurant has expanded and still gets...crowded and it is still as good as it was back then! We go there to celebrate and just for date nights. My husband and kids will always get the chicken cutlet parm while I'll try other choices (but sometimes it's the chicken parm for me too)! Just love this place. If you're ever in the Bronx, try it....you'll like it :-)More

We visited this restaurant after a day at the Bronx zoo. The restaurant has a very rustic style with the New York Yankees memorabilia adorn on the walls. The service was excellent with our waiter checking on us making sure at all times we had...everything that we need. As for the food I thought my dish was very bland and had no taste. They do offer large portions if that is your thing. In my opinion the food was mediocre at best. If you are looking for excellent Italian food I would not recommend this place.More

Haven’t been here in years but we took a ride back to my old hood today from NJ. This place rocks. The food, the waitstaff and the prices and portions! Everything we ordered was excellent quality and very large portions.

had a great experience. the waiter was very attentive, and had a very thick accent. Felt like we were in the movie The Bronx Tale. Ordered the Zuppa De Pesce. Thought $40 was a lot for the dish, but the waiter recommended it. It was...so much food, that I had 5 separate meals from this dish. Ended up a great value. very one in my family enjoyed their food and the overall experience.More
